Have you ever heard of the word forced labor? What think if forced labor is still applied in the current era? Forced labor is a job done under the threat of witnesses or punishment in which the worker does not have the freedom to agree on the execution of the work or in other words the work that is not done willingly. In the modern era or already sophisticated, forced labor methods should be abolished because they are not good for employees. There are so many employees who die from this method of forced labor because it is too heavy and very painful. They take this job for a variety of reasons between work limitations and life dependents. In addition, from this method of forced labor there aremany negative sides that they get. Forced labor is actually no longer needed in the world of work because it will increase the number of tortures against employees, worsen the mentality of employees into depression, worsen physical health.

The first reason, forced labor can increase the number of tortured employees. Most people say that torture in the office is a common thing to make workers independent but that statement is totally untrue. Torture is an act that should not be applied in the world of work because it is not good for employees and makes the company's name bad. The second reason, forced labor can worsen the mentality of employees to cause depression. Most people say that hard work will not make their employees mentally depressed because this is a simulation to train their mental to be stronger. Mental weakness is a decrease in interest in life, therefore it should not be recommended to do forced labor in the office because it makes employees depressed. according to Glimer (1996) and Suma'mur (1984) in Setyawati (2010), work fatigue can cause work performance to decrease, physiological and neural functions to decrease, and work morale to decrease. With the loss of forced labor methods, it will reduce the level of depression that employees havebecause there is no more compulsion in work and poor treatment. With the absence of forced labor methods, it will decrease the level of mental health of employees because employees are no longer forced to work in the sense that they are not relaxed but there is no compulsion in the work so that employees will work comfortably and calmly, but if in a compulsion it will worsen their mental health.
