Roads are the most frequently used transportation facilities by most people, thus affecting people's daily activities.  Therefore, the road is one of the main supporters of the socio-economic activities of a country.  The potholed roads hold dangers that lurk motorists.  Road damage indicates a condition where the structural and functional roads are no longer able to provide optimal service to those who cross the road.  The conditions and types of vehicles that will cross a road greatly affect the design of construction planning and the pavement made.  Road construction must be planned to be able to withstand the load on it without experiencing failure.

Generally, road damage is mostly caused by planning and implementation errors, as well as inadequate road maintenance.  

This is usually exacerbated in the rainy season.  At various levels of damage, road damage sometimes causes puddles, this condition of course will also disturb the comfort and endanger road users who pass through the road.  Hollow roads pose a threat to motorists such as the risk of a high accident, the vehicle will be damaged quickly and cause puddles of water.
