This book is dedicated to people who have always considered the psychological state of victims of sexual harassment as a trivial matter.

Have you heard of Sexual Harassment? What are you think about it? Will this sexual harassment have an impact on the mental health of the victim in the future? Sexual harassment is defined as “any unwanted behavior of a sexual nature, requests for sexual favors, verbal or physical behavior or gestures of a sexual nature; or other behavior of a sexual nature that makes the recipient feel insulted, offended and/or intimidated. In today's era, sexual harassment is terrible. Many people think that sexual harassment is a common problem and should not be exaggerated. Therefore, many victims of sexual harassment, women are reluctant to voice their opinions. Sexual harassment is atrocious for everyone because psychologically it can cause the victim to experience depression, dissociation disorders, and also hypoactive sexual desire disorder.
The first reason why sexual harassment is atrocious is that it causes the victim to become depressed. Many people say that victims of sexual harassment are exaggerating to call themselves depressed. This response was completely wrong, as the victims felt that they should have avoided the fateful incident. You could say depression is the most terrible impact experienced by most victims of sexual harassment. Victims of depression will usually always regret, feel guilty, and finally judge themselves worthy of being a victim. For example, as reported by kompas.com, a teenage girl in Yogyakarta became a victim of sexual harassment by her stepfather and ended up with severe depression. In conclusion, depression in victims of sexual harassment is atrocious and requires serious treatment.
The second reason why sexual harassment is atrocious is that it causes the victim to become Dissociation disorder. Some people always say that victims of sexual harassment should not experience extreme behavior changes such as dissociation disorder. This is not correct to say because many survivors of sexual violence, both men and women, will experience a period of dissociation disorder. So, what is dissociation? Not much different from depression, dissociation or withdrawing and breaking away are defense mechanisms used by the brain to deal with trauma, Sexual abuse, or sexual harassment victims will usually find it difficult to exist in the real world and spend time daydreaming. For example, someone who has experienced a depression phase will experience a dissociation phase where if the victim does not succeed in getting up, it will cause a dissociation disorder which makes it difficult for the victim to blend in with the outside world. Dissociation disorders will inevitably be experienced by victims of sexual harassment and this must be overcome slowly so as not to have a lasting impact on the victim's mentality.
