Thank you for being our Gandalf the Great, leading us into the realm of Storyjumper.

Meet Pamela the Great. Pamela is a wise wizard currently teaching at the University of Magic. As a new semester begins, she is eager to inspire new sorcerers to discover their inner magical beings.
Although Pamela was excited for the new course she had a problem. The spell and incantation books she used were becoming old and withered. The books fell apart, the ink was fading, and there were no illustrations for her visual learners. Pamela knew she had to search for a more engaging way to teach magic.
Pamela contacted her wizard, genie, fairy, and witch friends. They had all recommended a new magical way to contain stories.
It was called ‘StoryJumper’. She was so excited, she knew she would have to attain this new knowledge.
Just as Pamela was about to leave on her adventure she realized that she was bound to the castle by an evil spell known as Coronavia Varienta.
She was unable to travel and would be at risk of losing all her magical spells.
She remembered that once she had sent two of her most trusted pupils to venture to the land of Arrendale to retrieve a treaty during a very difficult time of conflict and war. If they could handle that, they could discover Storyjumper for her too!
Pamela called Lisa and Maria and asked them to help her locate and experience Storyjumper. She wanted to know if it was worthy enough to utilize for her new class. They were up for the challenge and were eager to help find a more helpful tool to create and hold stories.

Maria and Lisa were off on their journey, past the land of Euphoira, beyond Googleopia, through the forests of Don Vallian, up the mountain of Microsoftia, and through the oceans of Mac. Along the way Maria and Lisa thought of the possibilities they would find. Would it be worth it? They had many questions…
How can we use this tool in a Kindergarten classroom?
Is there an app that students can use on the iPad?
Is there a free version? or paid one?
Is there a way to connect to the community through stories?
Can we make accounts for students in our class?
Do families have access to view their child’s stories?
How are other 4 and 5 years old's using this tool?
Can we download our stories?
Is this compatible with iOS and Android devices?
Are we able to print off the books ourselves? or is it through a designated third party?
Is this a green (approved tool) for our board?
What are the privacy settings?
Are certain topics/themes restricted? (violence/sex)?
Is there an offline setting?
They finally landed in Fruitopia, where the fairies lived. The fairies were so excited to discuss Storyjumper. Fairies had a hard time finding materials they could write with and computers were too bulky and large to fit in their fairy communities. They also relied on magic for generations and technology was still a challenge for them. The fairies had a small tablet that they used.

Using Storyjumper they created the story about the famous socialite ‘Tinkerbell’. They were surprised at how easy the functions were to understand and use. Before they left, they were already creating a new romance novel titled: ‘Peter Pan’. Maria and Lisa were so thankful for the fairies help, they felt relieved to know that anyone could have access to this new tool.

The next stop was to visit the Genie. The genie was a wise sorcerer who lived in secrecy and could only be found using a secret network of Whatsappia messages. The last time he made himself public a man named Donald found him and became President of the United States! Ever since he has been in hiding. Using encrypted messages the girls were able to find out that the Genie community thinks very highly of using Storyjumper. They used it to record their folklore and maintain accuracy on Wikipedia.

This was important to remain anonymous or have the option to go public.
The ladies were feeling much more confident about Storyjumper and decided to risk visiting the Dragon to see if they had experienced Storyjumper. The dragon was known for having temper tantrums and losing their cool. Dragon tried doing a yoga retreat in Bali but ended up burning down the town when they took deep breaths. Due to a learning disability Dragon struggled with reading and was very not motivated to create stories. The ladies hoped to inspire Dragon to try Storyjumper. It would be great to document all Dragon's great adventures.
When they arrived Dragon was excited to share their most recent travel stories. They were so inspired by their story, Maria and Lisa asked if they would like to record some of the adventures using Storyjumper but Dragon seemed reluctant. The dragon kept finding excuses to avoid reading or writing. They could also tell that Dragon was getting a bit irritated and annoyed with being pushed to the task. Dragon kept asking for breaks and changing the subject.
Maria decided to log into Storyjumper and record the story of Dragons' last adventure. Dragon noticed and seemed interested. Without typing, Maria used her voice to record the story. Lisa inserted clipart and in a few minutes, the story of how the Dragon accidentally burnt down the Notre Dame in Paris was now in a digital book! Dragon was impressed and excited to try and document more of their adventures using Storyjumper.

Maria and Lisa realized that:
Storyjumper is great for all levels of experience, from beginners to experienced users will be able to use this tool because it is so easy to use, especially since you can access stories already created in a Storyjumper library (there are millions of books already created)
As a storytelling tool, Story Jumper can be used to help individuals create social stories or personal growth stories, resulting in a better understanding of past behaviour, working through personal issues, practising conflict resolution skills, and gaining new perspectives. Through modelling, children can create their own stories independently through the simple interface.
In order for them to tell a story that is unique to them, they have access to a variety of props, scenes and themes as well as a variety of skin tones, ethnic representation in clothing and foods to choose from.
The last testament they wanted to get was from the Witch of Instagramin. She lived in the Metaversea and was known to be a gossip with narcissistic tendencies. People usually avoided her because of her toxic traits and the sharing of their personal information. The witch was not as inviting as the others. She seemed cold and uninterested in helping. She was constantly checking her devices to see how many likes she had on her recent potions videos.
Maria and Lisa told her about all the success the magical community was having documenting their stories using Storyjumper.
With her nose up in the air, the witch politely asked them to leave.
As they were leaving her haunted condo they heard her whisper under her breath..
You two couldn’t even afford that type of service, who would waste their treasures or soul on such a silly subscription?
