Mick always wanted to be an amazing football
player just like his dad. He loved playing it and
even writing about it, but his mom didn’t want him
to get hurt. Mick was going to try out on a flag
football team and his friends Drew and DeShawn
were going to try it too.

Mick was always the older and strongest kid in
his grade. They loved playing flag football all
the time. Mick knew his dad were talked about
in papers back then and Mick already knew he
wanted to be a pro-football player.

It was time for Mick to tryout at school and he
made the highest team with the top dogs. With
older kids, they were three times quicker and
better. He made sure he stayed with them. His
dad gave him advice on how to reach the top.

The top running back for Mick’s team was Drager. He
was always perfect and did everything coach told him
too. But they when they had a game, supposedly Drager
and his friend were having a sleep over and over slept,
missing the game and they were off the team. That
moved Mick and Drew up to first string.

After the lost by twelve inches, everyone tried to cheer
Mick up. He wanted to get fit like the older boys but
didn’t know how they got big. He got a costume that
was a football player for his birthday that he was going
to wear for Halloween. He was allowed to do chores
around the house for money to buy him is own games
or any expenses.

Mick wanted to be just like his dad. His dad was
big and strong. So he asked his dad how could he
get powerful like him and fit. He said if you keep
working around the house and clean up then he
would show him some exercises in the garage like
it would be at a gym.

At school the older kids in the grades above him said
they drank shakes to become strong but his dad said
he was too young. He used his allowance money and
bought a bunch of candy, he used to always eat
Smarties and he would get pimples everywhere but it
gave him a boost of energy.

Mick would go into the garage and lift weights
but his dad wasn’t there to make sure he
didn’t hurt himself. He took the candy before
the workout and it made him last longer.

Through the season Mick would always eat
Smarties before the games and his coach didn’t
want him to because they made him really ditzy
and he couldn’t concentrate on the plays. So he
stopped for the first game.
