Today, we are going to make delicious fudge brownies! Before we start, do you have any allergies? 

You don't? That's great!

I am allergic to nuts, so let's avoid baking with any nuts today.

Let's get started!

Step 1: Take out the baking tools.

What baking tools do we need?

1 Baking pan

1 sheet of parchment

1 medium and 1 small mixing bowl

1 whisk

1 sifter 

1 spatula 

1 pair of oven mitts

Step 2: Take out the baking ingredients.

What baking ingredients do we need?

1/2 cup unsalted butter 

1 tablespoon vegetable oil 

1 1/8 cup sugar 

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

Step 3: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

We can't do this alone, so let's ask Mom or Dad to help us with this step!

Step 4: Prepare the baking pan.

Let's place parchment paper on the bottom of the baking pan. We do this so the brownies don't stick to the bottom of the pan when we try to eat them. You could also use oil spray instead!

Step 5: Mix the butter, the vegetable oil, and the sugar together.

Mix the butter, sugar, and oil together in a medium bowl with a whisk. Stir for a full minute. While stirring, make sure not to spill!
