Once upon a time there lived a 

family of water droplets who 

lived in a lovely environment 

under the sea. The youngest of 

the family was Molly, and she 

had a brother named Sammy, 

and her two parents John and 

Martha.

One day when there family was 

enjoying their breakfast they 

began to feel very hot. So they 

decided to go to the ocean 

surface to cool off. 

To all of their surprise they 

began to lift into the sky. Not 

wanting to leave their home 

they all screamed for help!

As they started their journey into 

the sky they changed from a 

water droplet to water vapor. 

(Evaporation) Eventually they 

began slowly cooling down to 

their regular temperatures and 

returning to a drop of water. 

Molly heard a faint noise 

coming from a distance when 

she turned to see what it was, 

it was all of her friends from 

school and a lot of dust Molly 

and her family joined them 

forming a cloud. 

(Condensation)

Eventually too many of her 

friends joined together in the 

cloud that it got too heavy, 

which lead to the precipitation 

of her friends, family and 

herself, this is otherwise known 

as rain,hail, or snow.
