Devin S woke up on this beautiful sunny day.

He hopped out of bed ready to play.

He brushed his teeth and combed his hair.

Then he hopped right down stairs.

¨Good morning Devin,¨ his mother announced.

Devin replied with ¨Good morning mom,¨ as he pounced and bounced.

Suddenly Devin stopped in his tracks.

When he noticed eggs laying on his plate instead of his favorite snacks.

Devin sat down looking confused.

Devin's face turned as red as a tomato with his cheeks all puffy.

His mother started eating and handed him some honey.

While his mother came out with some more food.

I do not like honey nor do I like oats.

All this food looks so gross.

Devin shouted, ¨Mom I do not want pancakes or toast!¨

Devin stopped and he scratched his throat.

His mother stood up with a groan.

She walked right over to the phone.

She dialed three digits and waited for three minutes.

His mother looked at Devin and growled, ¨You really are pushing the limit!¨

His mother whispered something into the phone.

Devin looked back at his plate and he let out a big groan.

Then they heard a knock at the door and would you look at that.

Its superhero Dave and his sidekick Lenny the cat.

Superhero Dave and Lenny are big and strong.

They eat all of their food until its gone.

Superheroes aren't picky eaters.

 Although they are very good readers.

If you want to be a superhero.

You must eat all your food till theres zero.
