chapter one: what is happening?

It started as a normal day. All the systems were working fine, all the crew were good except somebody had a cough. But all of a sudden there was a giant noise coming from the main stabilizer and the noise sounded like an explosion! And we were falling straight for a planet! When we crashed on the planet we heard a noise; but this time is wasn't an explosion it was like a rumble noise.

And when I looked out of the window there were green tentacles wrapped around the ship! Okay this is bad! I mean not like I lost my toothbrush bad, I mean there is an alien wrapped around the ship that I'm in bad! And then it began to squeeze the ship! The window was beginning to crack! The window finally gave out and cold air rushed into the ship! But the air was breathable, but very cold! The thermometers said that is was 35 degrees fahrenheit.

One of the workers said: "Brrrr it's cold!" The person's name was Ella Hermen and here's her profile.

We are very good friends! But back to the alien that's trying to crush the ship. It is really trying to crush the ship but the ship is made of an indestructible material that can't break. Well except the window which was made of plain old glass. That's why it broke. But the alien wasn't ready to give up it's lunch! It was reaching inside the ship and was trying to catch somebody! But it's tentacles were not very fast. Everybody was able to get out of the way. Finally, it gave up and we saw it go away until it faded out of sight. So we went outside. "We might be here for a while!" Said Ella Hermen. 

Oh and also Ella Hermen and I are not the only people on the ship! There are 192 people on the ship, but we're not going to get to all of their profiles. Anyway, the outside was very cold and there was a storm approaching us! It was huge and it was a thunderstorm! I guess weather on this planet isn't so different from on Earth. (Please note: for young people that are reading this book, this story never happened.)

chapter 2: the storm

When the storm arrived there were huge lightning bolts across the sky and the rain drenched everyone in a second! But the thunderstorm was much warmer than the before the thunderstorm! Probably because of the lightning! The thermometers said the the temperature was 62 degrees fahrenheit, which is cold, but better! Eventually the storm got so bad that we went into a nearby cave. In the cave we were hanging out when all of a sudden there was a noise that sounded an awful lot like a growl! So we went back outside.

The storm raged on! By morning the storm was even worse! The wind was so intense that it knocked the ship over! We were still in the storm when we heard our little friend again! When I looked over my shoulder, the alien that tried to crush the ship was coming! And fast! It had giant legs that were running as fast as they could! "Lets get out of here!" Yelled Ella Hermen. "Ya!" yelled another person named Tom Rowmien. (I'll give you his profile on the next page.) But the alien was moving so fast we had to run at all of our top speeds to get away! And the alien still followed us!

chapter 3: building the ship

The alien was getting closer and closer because it was running faster than us! It was 100 feet away... 50 feet away... 30 feet away... finally we hid in a small underground cave. And it ran right over our heads. 

"Phew!" said one of the people. "We have to get off of this planet!" said Ella Hermen. "I know!" I say. "So how do we?" asked a person named Ava Rayhy. (I'll show you her profile on the next page.) "That is the tricky part!" I say. "We need all ideas" says Ella Hermen. "We could look for resources to build the ship!" says Tom Rowmien. "Ya!" says Ella Hermen. "I have a very sensitive metal detector!"
