In Sol there also lived a young man named Chikara Yuki. He was seen by many in the village as cowardly, hesitant to act, and too frail to accomplish anything. Because of his demeanor many of the villagers bullied him; calling him names and taking advantage of his weakness. However Yuki had a great deal of compassion for others and wanted to make a difference in Sol.

One day, as the sun began to set, a terrible disease spread across the village, causing many to become terribly ill and bedridden. The elders knew that they lacked the medicine to cure their sickness and knew that it would only be a matter of time before the illness infected everyone. So, they called for volunteers from the citizens of Sol to venture into the looming forest and get aid from any village that could be nearby. However, there were no volunteers from the citizens of Sol, the twisting shadows, and eerie noises of the trees terrified even the toughest individuals.
