There once was a eggplant named Oscar. While all
the other fruits and vegetables lived inside the
refrigerator, Oscar lived by himself in a bowl on the
kitchen counter.
He could often hear them singing fun songs like
"Wheels on the Bus" and "Row Row Row your
Boat" (in the round, no less).
He wished he could join in with them, but there were
two problems. First, he was stuck in this bowl in the
kitchen. Second, he couldn't sing!

One morning, he woke up to find someone else on
the kitchen table. It was a banana.
"Hello, Banana," said Oscar. "What's your name?"
But the banana didn't answer. It just looked at him.
Maybe she didn't hear me, thought Oscar. "HELLO
BANANA, WHAT IS YOUR NAME?"
Still, the banana did not respond. This is irritating,
thought Oscar. Finally someone to talk to, but she
doesn't talk!

Will the banana speak? Is she hiding a secret?
Will Oscar ever get to sing with the other fruits and
vegetables?
Will they ever get off this kitchen table?
Will something else come to visit?
What happens next?

The banana kept staring at Oscar. Oscar tried
communicating with the banana but she didn't
answer!
"Are you o.k?" asked Oscar, "Are you sad,
mad or happy banana? I want to help you!"
Banana finally answered, "My name is Sally, I
cant find my owners! I am very sad." said Sally
the banana. Oscar felt bad for Sally and took her
to the fridge. The fridge was very fun for Sally
and one day Sally invited Oscar to stay in the
fridge with her. Oscar said yes and they had so
much fun in the fridge.

Oscar did not miss being alone but Sally
was sad everyday because she didn't
have her real owners. Oscar soon went
on a mission to find Sally's owners.
Oscar soon found her owners and Sally
was so surprised and so happy! Oscar
finally felt good for Sally and Sally felt
good herself. Oscar and Sally still stay
in touch till this day.
