Dedicated to my family

Little Elsa blinked and turned around. She thought she saw a shadow of something, but when she turned around, nobody was there. She shrugged and got back to what she was doing.

However, Elsa was seeing shadows, too. One day, they finally had enough. They were at the same spot at the same time, and a dark shadow loomed over them. They whipped around, saw nobody, and screamed, "WHOEVER IS PLAYING THIS TRICK ON ME, IT'D BETTER STOP NOW!"
Nobody answered.
Bubby came waddling into the room. "Who are you yelling at?" he asked.
"Nobody," Little Elsa replied, rubbing her forehead.

The girls tried to stay together, and to turn around immediately when a shadow loomed over them. But the shadows disappeared when they looked.

Finally, they decided to ignore it. It wasn't harming anybody. So what could it do?

Little Elsa was coloring a picture, when Elsa suddenly burst into the room.
"I've found it!" she whispered excitedly.
"Found what?" Little Elsa asked.
"The answer to why we keep seeing shadows. Gosh, it's SO obvious..." Elsa said wistfully.
"WHAT IS IT?" Little Elsa cried.
"Well..." Elsa's expression changed. "I think it's one of our quests."

Little Elsa stared at her sister in shock. Then her expression changed to wonder.
"How is that going to affect us, though? What can shadows do?"

Suddenly Elsa gasped. Little Elsa felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around. They both felt like they were trapped inside a horror movie. Except this was real.

A shadow! The girls turned and ran, but the shadow only followed them. Finally, it caught Little Elsa and
spun her around. Elsa was too afraid to
move or speak.

Unexpectedly, a wave of bravery crashed over Little Elsa, even though the shadow still had his hand on her shoulder, lifting her up into the air.
"Whatever you're going to do to me, it won't hurt me!" she yelled boldly.

"Oh, no?" the shadow asked. Little Elsa bit her lip.
What was it implying?
Elsa summoned courage. "Well, we have magic!"

"Yes, of course," the shadow said lightly. Little Elsa didn't like his tone. Effortlessly, the shadow picked up a chair with the hand not gripped on Little Elsa. He twirled the chair in his fingers.
"Well, that won't affect us!" Elsa said. The shadow smiled and threw the chair at her. That made Elsa mad.

The shadow didn't seem offended by this. In fact, it seemed quite pleased about this turn of events.
"Good, good, good, good, good," the shadow said happily. "Good..." He reached out to grab Elsa with his free hand, but Elsa blocked it.

Out of her rage, Elsa blasted repeated jets of ice at the shadow, which he easily and nimbly dodged.
Little Elsa felt his grip loosen on her shoulder. She wiggled out of his grip, and glared at Elsa once she was on the floor.

"You could've froze ME by accident!" Little Elsa cried at her sister. "And then the shadow could have suffocated me! And look at the walls!"

The walls were covered in ice! Elsa quickly unfroze them.
"I'm sorry," she said to Little Elsa. She turned to the shadow. "You know...Bubby was set up to be in a bad mood. Is that the same for the shadow?"
