INTRO TO THE NETHER

If you play MINECRAFT, you have probably heard of the Nether. The Nether is one of the scariest dimensions of MINECRAFT, from looks, to mobs. 

Netherite is one of the valued resources that most players go there for, you can get it by getting ancient debris, smelting it, using the netherite scraps to make netherite ingots. More things you could get there are blaze rods, and wither skulls. Blaze rods and ender pearls make eyes of ender, and wither skulls and soul sand can be used for summoning the wither.

MAKING A PORTAL

Making a portal to the Nether is not easy. There are a lot of things you need to find/do first. 

First, you need a bucket of water and a lava pool. Place the water ontop of the lava to make it into obsidian. Mine the obsidian with a diamond pickaxe. You need about 10, not counting the corners. If you want, put cobblestone in the corners. Build a rectangle about a length of 5 and a width of 4. Then you should have your portal, but you also need a flint and steel to light it. Light the portal with a flint and steel and you should see a purple rectangle filling in the rectangle of obsidan.

 If you do not see this, you need to redo the portal, If you do see this, you have made a portal to the Nether.

MOBS

There are a ton of dangerous mobs in the Nether. 

First, we have the Piglin. The Piglin is a hostile mob but will only attack unless you hit it first. You can also drop gold ingots infront of it, and it may give you something of value in return. Sometimes there is also zombie piglins.

Next, the Wither skeleton, just like a normal skeleton but black, and stronger,  I recommend a shield to protect you from it’s sword. If your lucky, it may drop its skull and if you get 4 soul sand and 3 skulls, you can summon the wither.

Third, The blaze. The blaze shoots fire at you. I recommend potions of fire resistance and a shield when fighting them. They drop their blaze rods but only a small amount at a time.
