There was a girl named Ruby. She loved jewelry of all sorts, from toy bracelets to the metal bracelets that sell at the stores.

One day, Mother said she was responsible enough, and thought she may like a necklace ("Ten Principles"). Mother gave Ruby the necklace.

"Good job, I feel that you should have this."
Thank you mom!”
Mother asked her to promise not to lose the rock necklace. Mother said many time to take care of the beautiful rock necklace and to not loose it. She promised her mother ("Ten Principles"). But inside, Ruby was thinking of how to throw it away.

"Please take care of this necklace."
"I promise."
After Mother left, Ruby said she did not like the necklace. She did not like the grey boring rock on the it.

"This looks ugly."
Her friend, Lacy, described how cool she looked with the necklace. Ruby still did not like the rock necklace. Lacy wondered why she did not like it a lot.

"I do not like the necklace."
"You look cool holding it."
Ruby said she was going to hide it in the forest for a long time. Lacy then told Ruby what her teacher taught her.

"It will be in the forest forever."
"Why do you have to hide it? That could not happen."

Lacy explained a belief her teacher called Taoism. This belief said a rule known as Wu-wei will prevent Ruby's actions. This is because Wu-Wei means go with the flow or no action ("Wu-wei"). Her friend says that the necklace may be found.

"No one will find it here."

"It will be found soon."
Ruby said to Lacy that she did not believe her, then hid the necklace in the hole. Her friend said that it will also be discovered because in another religion called Inuit religion, it may reveal Ruby's bad actions soon.

"Why should I care?"

"It will still be found soon."
As two of them were walking, Lacy said she learned about the Inuit religion. The Inuit belief believed the plants have spirits and that they will go after Ruby ("Inuit"). Because Ruby has hurt some plants when making a hole ("Inuit Figures").

"The Inuit religion has spirits."
When she got home, Mother asked her how she likes the necklace. She responded guilty that she liked it. Her mother then asked if she could see it. When Ruby was quiet, Mother told a story.

"I have a story to tell."
Once upon a time, a girl. She lost every object that was given to her. The girl was then no longer trusted by anyone. No one wanted to be her friend.

"Why won't anyone be my friend?"
Ruby's mother told her how she created the story from her friend's teacher. Her mother learned that Islam was a belief. It was where people who made promises with their words and completed it ("Duty").
