Once upon a time, I was relaxed in my house. It was a normal day at my dad's house until a new surprise was put upon me.

This is where I would meet my aunt, Erin.

after meeting her for the first time and spending the day with her, one thing was very evident. She was a person who loved being by herself

but then, the most unexpected thing ever happened.

Meet my boyfriend, Billy!

Now 14 year old me was very excited to have a young and "fun" uncle, as we hit it off the bat.

Wait so you like video games, sports, and the New York Giants too?!

we ended up spending a ton of time together as he lived very close to my dad's house where I didn't have a lot of friends 

The highlight of our bond though was definitely when our entire family would go down to The Outer Banks for July 4th weekend. This is where we got to spend a whole 10 days together

Outer banks are where I would say that me and Billy really became me and Billy. We would spend hours on end together doing everything you could imagine

The best part of us was that we didn't care what we did. We just did it. WE would do all type of things. Swimming to mini-islands, boating, fishing, jet skis, and so much more

We made it to the sandbar!

Although I really liked Billy, the best part was how he changed Erin. She felt like an entirely new person

WE all loved the old Erin but this new Erin felt refreshing and positive in ways we could not have imagined before

Let's all go into town together!

One day we're all down in Outer Banks. My dad and his girlfriend go out to dinner, and when they get back everyone starts cheering and congratulating them. I felt confused and left out and didn't realize what was going on...

We're getting married!

This news was crazy, I could not believe it. My dad was getting married.

You make me so happy :)

Next thing I knew me and my dad were sitting on the Philadelphia Library stairs knowing in less then 2 hours his life would be changed forever

Now this marriage did 2 main things. 1, make the lives of many people better and happier. 2, put a lot of pressure on Billy and Erin
