Deep in the forest there lived a cat in a cave that all the villagers said to be a ferocious beast with razor sharp fangs and a tongue that would feel like a thousand stings by one lick.

So, one day in the village the mayor made an announcement about a wager for a man to go into the forest and take a picture of this ferocious beast. The wager was for one thousand dollars. Throughout the village you could see the fear on the peoples face with the thought of going near the beast.

Then there was one man who came forward and said.”I will do it”. The man was short and very built with shaggy hair. The mayor laughed and said,” You will be a great snack for the beast”. The man responded with a smirk on his face.

The next morning the man packed up supplies and headed toward the forest.

Along the way he tripped over a log and cut his leg. Soon after he slid down a muddy slope and looked like a swamp monster. As he got deeper into the forest, he had to pass bushes full of thorns that scratched his entire body up. So now he looked like he was in a brawl fight.

The small man finally saw the dark cave where the ferocious beast lives. He quietly took small steps toward the cave carefully not making a sound. As he got to the cave entrance he stepped on a branch making a loud snapping sound.
