The Invasion

There were 4 friends wandering around in the woods. They were camping and exploring. Their names were Charlie, Valentina, Georgina, and Alex. When Alex was walking he tripped over a stone and hurt his knee.  “OW!” he yelled! He glanced to see a mysterious, abandoned building. Georgina ran over and Charlie and Valentina followed. 

      Alex said, “Look over there!”  Valentina walks to the entrance.

     Charlie yells, “Let's go in!” 

     “I don’t know Charlie… this place looks unsettling,” said Valentina. Alex and Georgina agree to go in. “Fine,” Valentina said.

Alex tried to open the door. “It's locked,” Alex said. Before they could say anything Charlie slipped on the wet grass.

    “OW,” she cried. 

    “Are you ok?!” Valentina said. 

    “I’m okay, but I slipped on this key,” Charlie said. 

    “THE KEY!” said Alex.

    “Why didn’t we just kick down the door?…look,” said Georgina, pointing at an open door.

 They went in and found that it was actually a school. It was dirty, broken down, and gave them a strange feeling. They went into some classrooms still getting the same creepy feeling. 

    They found a locked classroom. Charlie used the key to open the door. As they walked around the classroom something unusual was about to happen. “Do you hear that noise?” Alex asked.

"No?” Georgina  said in confusion. "AWOOOOO” was heard in the distance.

”Uh what was that?” said Charlie. 

“I told you it wasn’t safe in here!" said Valentina.

“I don’t like this,” said Alex.    

“Let’s leave,” said Georgina.  Alex and Charlie agreed. 

    “Look,” Valentina whispers to Alex. A pack of wolves enter the hallway. None of them knew what to do, so they looked for defensive items. They found three rocks, wood, and vines. Hidden in one of the vines was the third key. But the question was where does it lead? The wolves creeped closer and closer to them. They picked up the sticks and rocks getting ready for battle. The wolves watched them closely.

The group gets ready for the attack. They run into a classroom. The wolves pounce on the door and break it. Georgina makes the rocks and wood into swords and bows. The wolves chase after them. They battle against them and win! “We won the battle!” said Valentina.

     “We lived!” Alex cheered! They unlocked a chest with the last key and found lots of  money! The successful friends start to do the FortNite default dance in victory! Hooray!

The Other World

There once was a little girl named Eliana, who lived on a beach in North Carolina. One day she and her brother, Zack, were racing to the light pole. On her way there, she saw something shiny under the deep blue water. Eliana told her brother to come and help her get it. They dove down deep until they reached the bottom, but they couldn’t see. They heard their dad, Mark, calling them in for dinner. Mark said, “What were you two doing out there?”

“Oh, we were just working on our diving skills,” said Eliana. The next day Eliana and Zack grabbed a lantern before they went out to the beach. When they got there they put their goggles on and went under water.They saw something sparkle at the bottom. It was the shiny thing from yesterday! Zack grabbed the treasure and swam up to the surface. “It’s an amulette!” he yelled. Eliana grabbed and opened it.

“Wow, it has a key in it!” she exclaimed. A few days later after looking for what the key goes to, the two were playing in the garden when they saw a shed with a lock on it. Outside the shed they found an unusual laser gun. They unlocked the shed and saw a portal in it. They went in and met a monster named Malivore. “GIVE ME THE KEY!” growled Malivore. Using the newly found gun, Zack shot the monster.

“No!”shouted Zack and then turned Malivore into a rat. The gun was an animalizer. Very quickly a  monster named Reptar grabbed the amulette off of Eliana’s neck.

     “NO!” screamed Eliana. The kids chased Reptar all the way to the portal and turned him into a cat. “Get the amulette before he crosses to the normal world!” yelled Eliana. Zack took the amulette and noticed something behind the portal. It was a treasure chest! They had been so busy trying to get Reptar, they didn’t even notice the treasure. “Here Zack, go open it!” said Eliana excitedly.  She handed Zack the key. He opened the chest and found gold and rubies! They took it home and shared their lucky find with their family making them all rich..

The Treasure

One day, in 2099, an amazing treasure was found in the Atlantic Ocean. Captain Jack and his crew found the treasure, but secretly, Captain Wyatt and Pirate Cam’s crew desired the treasure, too. Captain Wyatt and Pirate Cam knew the exact location of where the treasure was found; they just didn’t know how to get it since another crew had already claimed it. They could attack  Jack’s crew head on, but they would get obliterated. They needed a plan. “I have an idea,” Cam said. “Time travel!”

 The treasure had been lost at sea since the 1700s. They could use their already accumulated wealth to build a time travel machine. By the next day the machine was up and ready. The portal was open and set to the 1700s. However, in the past that they were traveling to, the old pirates, Pirate Nick and Captain Carter’s crew, were burying the exact treasure the time traveling pirates were looking for, in a secret location near a small island in the Atlantic Ocean. 

    When Pirate Nick and Captain Carter saw the portal, they asked each other, What is that?” Suddenly a strange boat was passing them heading toward the area of the buried treasure.. They didn’t attack at first, though, because it looked so strange to them.

     ‘’Nick, it’s heading straight for the treasure,” Captain Carter exclaimed. “We have to go after them!”  After coming to their senses, Pirate Nick and Captain Carter’s crew went after them. Captain Wyatt and Pirate Cam’s boat was too fast for them, and the strange boat ended up crashing into the island. The pirate crew from the future started digging. Boom!

    “What was that?” they asked. The old pirate ship was firing cannons on the strange pirate thieves from the future. Suddenly, the strange ship from the portal began transforming into a dragon.  Shocked and frightened by the transformation, the old pirates turned their cannons toward the dragon.

     “Fire in the hole!” Pirate Nick exclaimed before firing the cannons at the dragon,  although only one cannon hit the dragon, it was seriously crippled. The old pirates then had an idea.

     “If we focus the fire on the pirates digging, the dragon will have to defend them and be distracted,” Captain Carter explained. 

    “It’s working!” Nick replied. The pirates from the future quickly boarded the damaged dragon and flew to the old pirate ship. Once on the old ship the future pirate thieves and the old pirates battled each other. One crew member was taken out swiftly and another was thrown overboard. 

“They’re here!” Captain Nick exclaimed and he took out one of Pirate Wyatt’s best crewmates, but then tripped on the cannon. He slammed his head and blacked out.  Captain Carter punched a guy so hard he was instantly  knocked out. The dragon slammed the boat, almost capsizing the boat.  Captain Carter ran up behind Captain Wyatt, and they fought with swords with Captain Carter landing the deadening blow. Pirate Nick woke up.

“Uhhh what happened?”  After gaining his balance Nick charged Pirate Cam head on and defeated him. The old pirates won but at the cost of their crew. The dragon was running out of power and soon died. Captain Carter and Pirate Nick's ship was sinking. It was a long voyage home and a lot of work to patch the holes in the ship, but they did it. The old pirates survived this amazing challenge and best of all their treasure was safe in its secret place, or was it? Only the future knows the answer.

Giggle Glory Circus

In a future world that has been ravaged by nuclear wars and natural disasters a young girl and her friend are trying to survive. As Kinley walked into the entrance of Giggle Glory, an old abandoned circus, she knew there was danger near. All living humans had to watch out for zombies and mutants. Kinley climbed over pieces of rubble as she stood and looked down to see a horde of zombies and mutants coming towards her. Then, the lights flicker.  She uses her laser gun to blind the horde. Suddenly, she sees a figure running towards the mob with a metal pole. “Who could this be?”  She thought.

    Kinley decided to join in the battle. “Oh dear, I didn’t know that any conscious, normal people were here, I’m Dante,'' shouted the stranger.

    “My name is Kinley,” she said. 

    “Lovely weather this evening, isn’t it?” Dante says as he defeats zombies casually.

     “I guess it is.” Kinley replies. They both defeat the mob together.

     “Spot o’ tea?” he asks. Kinley looks at him confused. 

    “We should maybe find more weapons,” replied Kinley. 

     “Good idea,” Dante replied. They looked around the abandoned circus, searching for more weapons. Dante looks like a normal human but he reveals to Kinley he is sick and if a cure isn’t found soon he will also turn into a zombie. As they share their weapons Dante shows what secret weapon he has. 

     “I have this," Dante pulls a tea bag out of his pocket. 

     “A tea bag?” Kinley says confused. 

     “It turns into acid when it comes into contact with any liquid," Dante said.  “I have some water in my backpack," Kinley said.

    Another zombie horde comes charging at them. They got their weapons and attacked. After a long successful battle, they decided to find some food. “I know a shortcut through the mirror maze,” Dante said. 

    “Lead the way,” Kinley said. As Dante and Kinley walk into the mirror maze, they hear a thunk. They think nothing of it at the time. They keep going farther in the maze. “I don’t like this,” Kinley said.

     “Oh, there’s nothing to worry about,” Dante said. Again, they hear another thunk.

     “I think we should leave,” Kinley said. 

     “Again, there’s nothing to worry about,” Dante assured her. “We’re almost there.”

     “I have a bad feeling about this,” Kinley said. 

     “Oh, do ya now?” a voice called out.

    “W-who said that?” Kinley asked. 

    “Wouldn’t you like to know?” the voice said. Kinley whacks the voice behind them! She misses and falls to the ground. 

    “Oops. Looks like ya missed, darlin!” The lights begin to flicker from black to red. “I’m Veronika. I’ll be taking this, darlin.” Veronika takes Dante! She makes a hole in the ceiling. “B-bye darling!” says Veronika.

     “KINLEY, HELP!” yelled Dante. Kinley got up and chased after Veronika, running as fast as possible. All of a sudden she lost Veronika. Feeling light headed, Kinley sat down on a piece of a carousel.
