Renewable Sources
Wind Energy offers a major forum for the reporting of advances in this rapidly developing technology with the goal of realising the world-wide potential to harness clean energy from land-based and offshore wind. The journal aims to reach all those with an interest in this field from academic research, industrial development through to applications, including individual wind turbines and components, wind farms and integration of wind power plants. Contributions across the spectrum of scientific and engineering disciplines concerned with the advancement of wind power capture, conversion, integration and utilisation technologies are essential features of the journal.
Wind power is one of the fastest-growing renewable energy technologies. Usage is on the rise worldwide, in part because costs are falling.

HYDROELECTRICAL ENERGY
This is the ENERGY of moving water. We can produce HYDROELECTRICAL ENERGY only using the moving of the water from a reservoir.
People have used this force for millennia. Over two thousand years ago, people in Greece used flowing water to turn the wheel of their mill to ground wheat into flour.
Most hydro schemes create a reservoir, usually by building a large dam to flood a valley. This trapped water is allowed to escape through pipes in the dam. When the water flows through the pipes, it turns a turbine that is linked to a generator that produces electricity.

SOLAR ENERGY
Solar energy is a renewable source obtained by the used of the electromagnetic energy of the Sun. The solar radiation that reach the Earth have been used since the ancient times through technologies that have envolved until today.
In the middle of the 90s, people started to use photovoltaic pannels in the roofs for houses and businesses.
