Dani is a 7-year-old boy who adores tacos and loves school. He is in first grade. After school, Dani takes a long nap.

During summer, Dani loves to ride his bike and go to pool parties with his friends.

Dani has a 16-year-old sister too. Her name is Maria. Maria is bossy so he likes to be annoying around her.

Dani has gotten in trouble, but today he has to quit getting in trouble. 

But before I can tell you that story, I need to tell you this story

Chapter 1: The mess up!

    On a lovely day, Dani was playing in his room, and Maria was watching him while her mom was gone. Maria was getting bored of watching him. She told Dani to be a little quieter because she was going to take a nap. On the other end, Dani was not listening to Maria - on purpose! He started to play "Raining Tacos" on his beatbox. 

    “AAHHH!!!” shouted Maria,” I told you to be quiet, not loud!”

    “And you were too quiet!" Dani retorted. 

    “UGH!” Maria slammed the door.

    Again, Dani turned up the music. This time, he turned up the volume to 150! 

    “That’s the fifth time this week! Whenever I want you to be quiet, you start playing that awful song!” Maria complained. 

    “It’s not awful, it’s awesome!” Dani screamed. 

    “That’s horrible, and I'm about to end it!” Maria screamed back.  "YOU'RE GROUNDED!"

“NOOOOOO!!!!!” Dani cried.

    “Go to your room!” Maria stylishly said. 

    Dani stomped to his room and slammed the door. The last thing he needed was to run out of tacos for the next 2 weeks. 

    Things were just getting worse! Maria opens Dani’s door and gives him… a thick, 500 page book.  

    "Just great," Dani thought.

    He would now need to finish a 500 page book without tacos. Dani always reads his books while eating tacos. 

    But now, it’s time. Time for Tacos! I’m kidding!

  Dani is grounded for two weeks, and it might even be three weeks if he snuck into the pantry.

“Let’s do it!” Dani said. 

So he snuck into the pantry. 

Sneak, sneak, sneak.  

    Squeak, squeak, squeak.  

        Grab, Grab, Grab. 

Stomp, Stomp, Stomp.    

“Oh, no. Here comes my sister," Dani said as he stuffed another taco into his mouth. 

Stomp, Stomp, Stomp.  

        Run, Dani! Run!   

    He slammed the door, 

Bang! Bang! Bang!!  "Let me in you, little turd!"  Maria shouted.  

    Dani only had one choice, “I can’t!” Dani thought. 

Bang, Bang, Bang. "I'm serious mister, you're in big trouble!"

The sound grew louder, 

"Fine." Dani gave in.  

He grabbed his umbrella and got ready...

Dani jumped out the window.

Chapter 2: All in pieces.

Dani, I was just kidding!" Dani's sister said. "Ugh! If only Dani knew I was bringing a taco for us to share," 

Maria complained.

The door slammed closed. That meant only one thing...Dad! Oh-no! Maria would need to act fast!

Then, she got an idea.

Meanwhile...

Dani was already done getting messy. 

He couldn't quite figure out how to get back in a locked apartment.

First, Dani tried to climb the spiderwebs. Of course. 

-that didn't work.

He messed up mister spider's dinner, 

then almost turned into one!

Luckily, the boy got out of the mess somehow.  

Next, Dani looked in the dumpster, hoping to find something extraordinary. He did find something extraordinary... but at the last second, a racoon took its place.

Dani hollered, "Help!" and ran off. But he 

wasn't fast enough. The racoon pounced on his head and covered his eyes. 

Back at the apartment...

Maria's "Dani's in the bathroom" trick was failing. Dad was about to look in Dani's room.

But hey, that wasn't the problem. 

The problem was that if he looked out the window, her father would see Dani. Dad would tell Mom, and Mom would ground Maria. She was trying to prevent that from happening. Maria really does not care about Dani.

As if it was about her!
