Once upon a time, In Ancient Greece, there were 2 goddesses. But how did they find their talents?
That is our question. We start with Athena. She was born in Zeus's head. She is the goddess of war, wisdom , and arts
But how did it come to be like that? Well it was a quest.
.
She was walking along when she came to a market.
There was a cart that said: QUESTS:FIND YOUR TALENT. She stopped. She asked if she could have a quest for 3 gold pieces.
The owner said: " Yes! I have just the quest. But, I need one of your lovely strands of hair." She agreed. Soon he had a potion brewing. " With the hair " he said " a piece of parchment with pop out.
It held a puzzle.
She traveled through mountains, valleys, creeks, and rivers.
Now she is in a forest. It is night time. " Who, Who! " " Who was that!? " shouted Athena as she whipped around. An owl fluttered down. and landed on her shoulder. He promised to Athena to be her spirit animal if she would care for him. She said yes. They started up the journey again, but soon stopped.
It was dark. So they slept in a cave. After breakfast, Athena tried to solve the puzzle. It read:
I AM AS SOFT AS A LAMB - I FLY LIKE A BREZE - I ASK WHO YOU ARE WITH EASE - WHAT AM I?
" A flying lamb, who askes who you are? " "Who!" " Not now. " "WHO! " " Ugh, wait. Who? The answer is an owl! "
Suddenly a light carried Athena and her owl up and out.
She landed next to her mother, Metis.
Her mother Metis gave her a velvet robe and helmet.
Then again a light came out. It was sunlight. Hephaestus's face was peering in. Then Athena and her owl shot out like a cannon!
She had become the goddess of war, arts, and wisdom.
Next we have Aphrodite.
She does not have any parents, so why did she just blow away? No one will ever know. But her story should be well known. She became the goddess of love by falling in love with a boy named Atticus.
One day Aphrodite was walking when she saw the greatest boy in Greece: Atticus
Her heart beat faster and she fell deeply in love. They both went over because Atticus was in love with Aphrodite! They loved each other so much that in a few moths they got married!
But before they kissed, Cerburus burst in and killed Atticus. Aphrodite was so sad. then a wind picked up and carried her to Greece. It was so pleasant she dried her tears. When she got to shore the Graces greeted her and dressed her. She saw Ares and fell in love but didn't walk over to him. She had learned her lesson.
