Prologue 

Five tales turn into one story. One story can become a legend. All legends become history and are never forgotten. Five hero’s with many obstacles. Obstacles with many names. Book Four The Moon's curse.

You slip around he corner of the hall you wonder what could be so important that they would capture her little did you know the answer was right in front of you all along.

Chapter one family

Your family had always been full of everything like everything there were conflicts and divorces but you always knew how much your family loved you and how much you loved them back but one day someone very important that you loved went missing and hadn’t been seen for fifteen years it was your mother she missing without a trace your family thought maybe she just wasn’t happy anymore but you knew better then that.

Your family had always been different but amazing there were divorced family members gay and lesbian family members disabled family members but that had always made your family much stronger however when your mom vanished your family seemed to break apart into small pieces you did have one thing left from your mother it was a small silver necklace in the shape of a full moon it was pure silver and it was outlined with small moon stones.

Your father worked as a city businessman he sold computers technology and robots he handmade everything he sold so you never got to see him much but he was one of the smartest people you knew your mother on the other hand was a veterinarian she specifically loved caring for wolves and Siberian huskies. you had one brother and one sister both were in high school now so you never really saw them anymore but they used to love making art both of them.

Now your sister wanted to be an author along as an artist while her brother is hoping to be a marine biologist. You still remember fifteen years ago the night your mother disappeared that day she had acted so strange she had spent so much time with you taken the day off for you given you her special necklace one thing that she said to you made you wonder she had said no matter how far I go away I will never leave you.

The night you knew something was going wrong but you didn’t know what it was you crept out of bed and the one thing you heard someone say was leave the child you have me but I promise I will never marry him then some strange voice surrounded her and said I’ll leave the child if you don’t leave me again I understand you heard your mother say you ran back into your room and tightly snuggled up into your sheets trying to block out the sounds.

The next morning your mother was gone and you found your father by the fireplace he said that last night she had ran away that she wasn’t coming back home and that she was gone forever for a period of time you thought so too until now you found something no one else knows about and this might just be enough to save her you just hope your not too late.

Chapter two the secret 

When it was your eighteenth birthday you decided that it was time to look through your mothers old belongings that were given to you when you started looking through them you saw old photographs of when you were a small baby only a few weeks old she had dark purple hair she dyed it when she was twelve and she had bright blue eyes she always wore a dress and her favorite black slick boots in photo's.

But one picture you found was ever so strange it was taken at midnight and your mother had wolf ears their tips were purple and her hair was the most curly hair you'd ever seen another thing that was extraordinary was a ring it had a bright purple gem with a heart carved neatly around it and small gemstones around it your mother had put it into a bag with the label Aleano you assumed that was the type of gem it was so you looked it up but the gem was said to not have existed not be real all the books computers and collectors said it was just a myth you tried it on and it glowed like actually glowed. 

When you found a box with the word moon on it you opened it shocked to find a crown made like the crown of jewels but with the same thing your mothers ring was made out of and it had strange unreal gems from myth all on it you started questioning if your mother was human at all the final thing the set a puzzle off in your mind was a case file it had DNA samples of your mother's hair from her and fingerprint but strangest of all information all about her.

When you looked at the information about her it ad said her birth date her family her contacts even all her jobs it had all the jobs you knew of except for being the queen of wolves then a black piece of paper titled plans that was everything in your mothers things but the piece of paper had nothing on it no plans no writing only a pen after you hid your mothers now your things in a special spot you went to try and figure out what the world was going on.

You first headed into the library seeing only books about legend nothing that could help you now but there was a part of the library off limit's one single book was on a shelf inside that was all the could see through the window at least but the door to it was locked so you either had to get the key or find different a inside you went outside to clear your head for a moment trying to figure out your thought's there was so much going on but you didn't have any idea even where to start but the second you sat down on a bench someone walked up to you and offered you help you wondered what the help would be.

You suspiciously asked what kind of help they were offering they said that they were offering key help they handed you a key and said if you take this you have to give me something too you asked what she said you will come work with me on a case your already trying solve just one case you can have the key and then you can walk away deal you said you took the key and said when do we start?.....

She answered and said when you figure out what your doing wait what you started to say but then she was gone you took the key to the off limits section and opened the door when you walk in you see only one book again you pick it up and shake in surprise it was a book made by your mother the night she vanished you opened the book and started reading "when the moon is full and bright a wolf I will be tonight I get my power from the moon I will be the queen." On the next page you find a crystal it looks like a piece of rainbow crystal only said to be real in a wolf's mane.

When you stuff the book into your jacket and take zip the crystal in your pocket you feel you body start to change you feel strange fur perhaps and you run to the restroom you look in the mirrors and scream loudly you have purple hair and wolf ears when you sit down you feel fur you groan and slowly look down seeing a huge fluffy tail then you faint when you wake up you find yourself out of the library.

Where I am you ask you sit up and the lady who gave you the key is standing next to you she said you are in the magic department of mystery your mother went missing about fifteen years ago correct yeah you hesitate why because we can help you find her she says what do you have in mind you ask....

Do you know your secret she asks?.....

Chapter three wolf

You stutter what do you mean you ask what's your secret she asks again I don't have any you reply she shakes her head disappointed are you sure yes I mean no you say she stops you and says just follow me you follow her because you really don't have any where else to go but you follow her wearily fearful of her she takes you into a room that makes you startle it was a room filled with a cold case on your mother and there was books upon books of research.

She hands you one particular book and tells you to read it it's titled grim's fairy tales little red ridding hood this is a fairy tale book you start to say the lady says just read it so you start to read it start's off as any fairy tale would "once upon a time in a land so far away there was a girl her name was Alyss she had hair white as snow and eyes black the night she had extraordinary powers because she was a wolf not just any wolf a magic one shew was as humans called her a werewolf humans say that a where wolf is an evil beast who has no control those false rumors they are lies..."

"when she was in a human form she had wolf ears and a tail but the body of a human while in wolf form she was a small normal looking wolf except for the color of her fur and the powers she contained she protected all the animals in the forest until red ridding hood came she came with wood cutters she came with hunters Alyss tried to defend her animal friends and her tree friends but the hunters were too strong being over powered by them the animals and Alyss fled for their very lives and little red ridding hood took over the forest."

" but legend says one day someone will save the forest again The End." Okay but this is just a children's story you say the woman again just shook her head and said it's not just a children's story it's not just a story it's a true story so I ask you again do you know your secret you start to feel dizzy again and you say am I a werewolf the lady finally nodded her head and said the world has gotten much more dangerous for you now much more than you could imagine but if your interested I have the case for your mother if you want it you can have it but you might want to try and learn how to use your powers first.

You nod your head and say okay we have a deal she then says my names Kiara this might be a big emotional change for you as well you there is someone who might be able help you with that but you should not leave this place till you can go into your full human form where you look like the human you used to be now the person you'll be training with her name is Lorelei she is tough kind and energetic you'll like her.

You follow Kiara into what you amuse is the training room you see Lorelei she's a tall eighteen year old who has bright red blazing hair she had dark brown eyes with a perky exasperation she wore a choker with a moon on it she seemed really happy to see you she sticks out her hand and says it's soo nice to meet you now what do you want to work on with your werewolf training!?

She was talking so fast it was hard for you to keep up but you said you wanted to try and go back into your human form she nodded her head vigorously and said then let's do it she grabbed your hand and pulled you to the center of the room she told you to close your eyes and chant moon setting sun rising fur of wolf to hair of human let me change back to my human.

You chant what she tells you to and then she says now imagine having your ears go down and the tail poof out you did as she instructed then you looked in the mirror they were gone well that was easy enough then she said you probably are also going to want to learn how to turn into your full wolf form as well you know you can't have one without the other.

She told you to chant moon above shine your magic on me shine your power above let human teeth turn to wolf fang and let the sun finally set to let night shine brightly you chanted this and then she told you to imagine your wolf fur coming your ears and tail come back and when you open your eyes your a giant purple wolf.

Lorelei looked at you with her mouth open and she said why are you so big

Chapter four the dire wolf

You shrink back to your human with wolf ears and tail form Lorelei looks at you in shock and says your a... a... a dire wolf I am you ask wearily yeah you are she says dire wolves are one of the most powerful wolves ever that's incredible you say Lorelei says your moon powers will come to you naturally so take your time figuring them out but now I need to ask if you have anything weird going on  with your mother did you see anything of hers well there was one thing you say you pull out the photograph of your mother as a werewolf. 

You hand it to Lorelei and she looks at it for a long time before handing it back to you then she tells you to follow her you follow her back to the room where you saw the cold case for your mothers disappearance she takes you to all the locations they thought she may be you click your tongue and say I might have a place to look to Lorelei.

You tell Lorelei that you think that you both should start searching at Alaskan mountain that was one of your mother's favorite places to go Lorelei nods her head up and down mumbling something to herself eventually she says okay let's go you both get into a small mini van it's tiny but big enough for the two of you when you both arrive you take her to the old camping place she used to take you Lorelei said that you and her should wait there for a while to investigate around.

It's nearly midnight but you lie awake not able to fall back asleep you hear a rustling from out side and snap up you climb out side the tent and peer around a wolf is sitting down it howls sadly you slowly approach when the wolf tries to stand it howls in pain you wonder what's wrong so you try to communicate with it because you are a wolf after all you try to talk to it but all you hear is what wolves normally sounded like.

But you won't give up you look at the moon and you let it engulf you in it's light you slowly open your mouth and howl you howl what your heart is saying and all of a sudden you hear words you hear words coming from the wolf it speaks and says it's leg is injured you bend down and see a trap clamping to her leg you grab it with your bear hands and rip it off but then you see the wolf's leg is wounded badly from the trap you go into the tent and get the first aid kit you packed out you get out a cast like bandage and wrap it around the wound.

The wolf says her name is Luna it's nice to meet you Luna you say you tell her your name is Accalia she tells you to follow her she takes you to the center of the woods she howls to the moon and the moon light turns into a pure solid it forms into an amulet that she gives and she tells you to look into the moon she tells you to feel the night not just know that it was night but to feel the night to know what it smells like it felt like magic and the cold breeze then she tells you to feel the moon to make it stay there to not let it leave sight this way you can turn invisible with the moon and then she says look at these tracks I'd follow them in the morning.

You touch your head to her head and say that you'll see her soon you head back to the tent and fall into a deep sleep you dream of your mother you must be three years old she takes your hand and says see the moon it gives light and energy maybe one day I'll teach you how to do this she start's glowing and walking she walks all the way to the moon she grabs your hand and you both float toward the moon you land on the moon you freak out fearing you won't be able to breath.

She tells you not to panic that you could breath the moon's surface felt soft when you touched it you melted into it at its core a glowing ball of light was there thousands of silhouettes of wolves appeared dancing on the walls and top of the moon the glowing ball floated towards you your mother pulled you up out of the moon and said not yet my child soon but not yet she held you in her arms and you both floated back to earth and you fell softly asleep in her warm arms.

When you wake up Lorelei is still asleep and the sun hasn't arisen but the moon wasn't in the sky either you touch Lorelei's shoulder to wake her but she just rolls over and snores you walk out of the tent and snow starts falling from above it was a perfect white snow that wasn't cold but light and fluffy you fell into it and sank down resting enjoying the sweet silence of the mountain.

You finally wake Lorelei up and tell her about the claw print tracks and tell her about the night before aftern you both eat breakfast you set off to follow the tracks.

Chapter five the snow tracks

though the sun is up you feel a shiver of fear running up and down Lorelei and your back the place where you followed the tracks were colder than ice it was sticky and grimy and all the animals seamed to have ceased into thin air you both look around anxious waiting to see if there was an attacker.

When the claw marks stopped there was a tall tree house that was covered with dead branches that looked like snake's skin you take a deep long breath in and out then open the door to go inside when you walk in there's a winding spiral stair case with strange markings when you reach the top of the stairs you see an ornate room covered with markings of the moon.

Right when you come in you hear a howl of pain and see a old rasping wolf he stands in the corner of the room and says they took her they took her away she didn't want to she didn't want to who didn't want to do what you ask the wolf says the wolf queen they took her they took her away then he collapsed to the floor you yell for Lorelei and tell her to come up immediately you see a sharp cut on the wolves back it looked fresh you tell Lorelei to go get the medical equipment.

Lorelei came back within minutes and you take out a strong medicine numbing medicine to get rid of the wolves pain and then you take out rubbing alcohol you rub gently on the wolves back he winces a bit but then settles down you take out a cast like bandage and rap it around you look into the wolves eyes and say do you know what happened to the queen of the wolves he takes a wheezing breath and says evil people took her far away they wanted something but I don't know what the last place I saw them was Iceland before they attacked me and sent me back here.

Okay you say Lorelei what should we do Lorelei gently says um sir where in Iceland would that be the wolf wearily starred at Lorelei and said The Blue Lagoon okay thank you sir Lorelei said we'll get you proper medical attention back at our detective apartment the wolf closed his eyes you check his breathing he should be okay for a few more days before he needs major assistance Lorelei said we need to get him back like now you nod your head and say okay let's go.

A few hours later you get back to Lorelei and say so what's the soonest we can leave for Iceland she groans and says three weeks you close your eyes and try you steady yourself okay we can wait three weeks but I'm going to need some alone time for a little I understand Lorelei said compassionately once you head back to your house you slump back on your bead you've dreamed of this your whole life but now what are you supposed to do...

Your father comes into the room and says you've been missing for two days you worried us sick oh dad I can explain you say he puts a finger to his lips and says I know what you were doing you.. you do you ask shyly I do he said you have a girl friend you start to blush and say no no I don't why would you think that he stares at you and says why didn't you just tell me you glare at him in embarrassment and say Lorelei isn't my girlfriend she's just my friend you snap.

Oh... so Lorelei's the name huh you stammer no no no he takes you hand and says I've always known this day would come but before he says anything else you jump out the window into the bushes Luna he shouts you curl up in a ball and say to yourself I'm never going back in there I'm never going back in there then someone takes your hand and helps you up....

It was Lorelei you stammer oh hey Lorelei what are you doing here you laugh weakly she smiled and said I heard everything you blushed even harder you did you say yes she said you say my dad just jumps to conclusions a lot Lorelei said um it's okay don't worry you feel a little calmer and say what are you doing here though Lorelei says I was just going to invite you to starbucks I thought it might be fun.

You smile and say that would be fun.

Chapter six Lorelei

I thought my heart would explode when I heard Luna's dad saying that he thought I was her girlfriend but to be honest ever since I'd met her I kind of fell in love with her but I haven't really said anything until now I just asked Luna this awesome werewolf direwolf on a date to starbucks I can't believe it.

We both hoped in the car and drove to Starbucks we went inside Luna ordered a caramel frappuccino and I ordered a regular coffee I was so nervous to say anything to Luna she was so confident and smart and I was so cool but a little dorky sometimes we sat down together and Luna asked about my family I had nine brothers and five sisters wait really Luna exclaimed um yeah... I said shyly. 

I asked Luna about her family she said it was complicated she said she had a huge family there many different types of lover's and genders and even some divorces but her family was amazing and kind in every way possible but when her mom went missing everything fell apart everyone was sad but if she could find her again then she and her family would be the happiest people in the world.

Then we talked about school I was home schooled so was Luna but I wasn't the only kid who was home schooled basically all of my sisters and brothers were too so it was hard to get much time to myself my older brothers and sisters went to collage while the younger kids had to take most of my parent's time up because they were like toddlers Luna nodded knowingly.

Then Luna's eyes widened stand back she yelled she pulled me behind her and then an explosion boomed I saw a mans face in the window for a split second I swear I saw The face of a coyote but then he disappeared looked back at me are you okay she panted yeah I'm fine I said how did you know what was happening Luna lifted her eyes to meet mine and said I just kind of sensed it.

After we went back home I quickly kissed Luna on the cheek and said I had fun tonight Luna blushed so hard she looked like a tomato and then we both ran back home I slumped on my couch and fell asleep and when I'm asleep almost nothing can ever ever ever wake me up until morning.

The next morning I heard a knock at my door it was the man from last night he had a hood on so I couldn't see his face without me letting him in he opened the door and stepped inside I jumped under my couch and he stopped in his tracks he knelt to the ground so close to me I could hear his breathing I inhaled sharply in and out trying not to make a sound but it was too late he had heard me.

I backed into the darkest corner of my couch and squeezed my eyes shut as tight as I could a few seconds later I heard his foot steps recite I opened one eye carefully and sighed in relief he was gone I crawled out from the couch and snatched my phone I quickly texted Luna for help and sprinted upstairs then locked my bedroom door I started planning all the possible ways of escape.

That's when I heard Luna barge in the door I looked into my security cameras to see what was going on she looked more mad than I had ever seen her in her whole life she walked straight up to the man and said I don't know who you think you are but if you hurt my friend you'll be sorry he laughed and said what's a silly girl like you going to do about it Luna's fur started showing she has to calm down or she could kill him I rushed and unlocked my door right before Luna would hurt anyone I grabbed her arm and told her to calm down she looked at me and said I didn't know I would act like this.

Right when the man tried to knock both of us out Luna kicked him in the face and he fell unconscious I tied him up I saw Luna's fur turning red that normally meant anger for werewolves I grabbed Luna's arm and said you have to calm down you could hurt someone Luna took a deep breath and said sorry I'm just not in control of my emotion right now I said it's okay this stuff is normal.

Chapter seven questioning (back to Luna)

You felt so much rage and anger that Lorelei could have been injured but then your scared… scared of yourself you were scary you could have killed someone but now isn’t the time to think about that you tell yourself you take a seat in the other room for a moment Lorelei tied the man to a chair in the other room when he woke up you went in the other room and he looked at you with a horrified look.

You growl at him and get close you lean in and say your going to tell us what we want to know the man shrank back in his chair and said what… would you want to know he asked sheepishly you say where did you take my mother why are you coming after us he looked at you and chocked on his words he said my master wants your mother to do something and they have taken her to castle white rock.
