In the town of Lilypoddle, y'know, the one down by the sea
There's a family that lives there,
peculiar as can be
Each one of them is different, strange, and unique.
They're always loud, never quiet and certainly never meek.
Their house is large, and teeters high
on top a great big cliff
It's surrounded by flowers and cedar trees, be sure to take a sniff!
If you knock on the door, prepare yourself, make sure that you are ready,
Once you step a foot inside, you'll find the house unsteady!

Oh good! Ms. K opened the door, she's one who is most normal-
She cooks, and cleans, says "please" and "thanks", but sometimes she's too formal.
It's because she works so hard alongside presidents and politicians,
She talks to them about the world, the laws, and her clear mission.
You see, Ms. K has one desire, an impact she'd like to make-
She believes it's mandatory, everyone should get summer break!
"It should be a law!" she cries to you, with fierceness and with pride
"If my kids get to stay home all summer- then so! should! I!"
In order to duck away from Ms. K, you'll have to ask for the bathroom.
Instead of a sink or toilet there, you'll find a woman in a costume!
A dog and cat sit at her feet as she belts out a song,
You recognize the melody, but the words she sings are wrong!
This woman here is Auntie Jo, an opera singer by trade,
when she's not at the theatre,
it's her pets she serenades.
Now, why does she use the bathroom to practice her trills and her bellows?
"Everyone sounds better in the shower," she says, "Don't you hear how my voice echoes?"

Now Auntie Jo is married to a man named Mr. Brown,
It's pretty hard to miss him- there's a fire on his crown!
We're not sure how it got there, but we have a couple theories-
We think it's all the spicy food he eats like peppers, and like chillies.
All day he stays in the kitchen, eating the hottest food he can find.
He says that "It's delicious!" But we think he's lost his mind.
If you go out the kitchen door and into the backyard,
you might just happen on two race cars crashing, their bumpers dented and scarred.
Two old men will scurry forward, it's Grandpa Sam and Grandpa Ed.
They'll look at the cars and murmur, but you won't hear what's said.
Those two have raced one another since they were twenty-five,
the strange thing though, is that no one's ever actually seen them drive.
The race is never what interests them, it's the part that comes right after,
When they fix the gears and change the tires to make the cars go faster.

Past the busted race cars, Grandpa Sam, and Grandpa Ed
is a large forest, it's spooky- it will fill you up with dread.
As you creep through the underbrush, fearful of something foul,
you'll almost jump out of your skin when behind you comes a growl!
Behind you is a massive wolf, and he doesn't look too happy.
You'd better run away, and you'd better make it snappy!
Before you take a single step, a sweet old voice rings clear,
"Oh now don't you lose your temper Beta, we use our manners here!"
Nana Paula to the rescue! It's her wolves out on patrol-
Luckily, she's the Alpha of the pack, and she's got them under control.
