Dedicated to my sister who I shared everything with since the day I was born.

There once was a girl named Kat who had two cousins, Sarah and Sally, who were visiting for the weekend.  

On Friday they decided to play princesses out in the forest. Kat wanted to finally use the princess hat she was gifted for her birthday. 

Sarah and Sally were jealous tho because they had to find some old hats to play with.  

No!! I want it!!!

I want it!!!

Sarah and Sally argued all afternoon over who should wear the princess hat.

Kat just stood by listening as one sister whined, "I want to wear the princess hat!"

While the other sister shouted back, "No, I want it! I'm the princess!" 

She tried to speak up and say something, but the sisters just shouted over her. 

Before they knew it, it was dark out and they had to go back to the house. 

The next day the girls had to find something to do inside since it was raining outside and they couldn't return to the forest to play.

They found some dolls in the playroom, but just like the day before, the girls spent the whole time arguing. 

They were arguing over the same doll. 

Kat brought out a few dolls so they could choose another, but the sisters wouldn't listen. 

"I want her. I saw her first," argued Sarah. 

"But orange is my favorite color." Cried, Sally. 

"I'm telling mom!" replied one sister.

"Well I'm telling dad." snickered the other. 

Kat didn't dare to try and get a word in. 

She just stood by holding the other dolls wishing they would just let her speak. .
