The first Tale

Seri closed her eyes and howled she wasn't backing down five weeks ago hunters had declared war on the wolves for a crime they did not commit but it wasn't just the wolves it was all the animals they were magic animals and if this human set down these traps everything was over so Seri couldn't just sit back and let her family be hurt she had to do something to save them.

Seri had no shame in eating what she and her family needed but she didn't want hunters to destroy everything and use nothing of it so Seri ran she ran as fast as she could she knew her mother and father wouldn't approve of her doing this but Seri didn't care when she got close to the human hunting camp she stopped and closed her eyes then touched her nose to the ground I smell bunny dirt rock and metal of some kind then she heard a loud boom from something she jumped up and fell onto the hard ground.

Seri opened her eyes and saw a long metal tube like contraption smoking some sort of gas and laying on the ground was a small robin these humans did no need meat of a baby bird she saw the robin was still breathing it was still alive before this evil human could injure the poor bird worse Seri grabbed the bird and ran into the woods with it Seri had been taught healing by the elders in her clan.

Seri put her paws over the bleeding creature and and felt it's cut slowly close but the loss of blood in the creature made it very weak however Seri transferred a bit of life from her body to the robin's the the bird would be okay after a while then Seri went back the evil hunting human to spy on him for a few hours he just sat there sleeping but when the sun rose he woke up and pulled out a round ball with rope at the top he placed one all over the forest.

Seri remembered her clan had called these bombs Seri didn't know what that word meant but she had a feeling that it wasn't a good word then the human took out a box with a lever but then Seri saw that there was rope connecting all the bombs to this strange contraption so when the human wasn't looking she bit through the rope and carefully one at a time threw the bombs far away from the forest.

When the stange human pulled the lever on the contraption nothing happen but then the human pushed the lever over and over and over and over again till it broke but somehow a small spark ignited and caught the forest on fire Seri rushed to the river and begged the river otters to help her make the fire go down so they used they deepest connection to the water and asked it politely if the water would help so then the water made a shield around all the forest but then Seri realized that it didn't go around the human camp.

Seri then knew she had a very important choice to make she could either leave the humans or she could save them Seri knew what her clan would want her to do they would want her to leave them for being horrible to nature but then she thought about her mother she would want Seri to save the humans because her mother believed in love and forgiveness so Seri raced over to the human camp and grabbed the human that was still trapped and dragged him to safety.

The human gasped for air and the looked into Seri's eyes why would you save me he asked Seri connected to the humans mind and said because I believe in love then Seri said leave this forest a changed human once the human left the fire ceased and the animals were healed and the forest was in harmony once again and as a reward for Seri's great deed they granted her the power to change from wolf to human.
