Ginger the cat and Anabelle the dog loved to play together in the park. They would spend hours playing tag, jumping on the play structure, and chasing squirrels and birds. Their favorite activity was to sit and watch the clouds pass by, and think of what each cloud looked like.

One day after they had finished chasing the squirrels, the pair were enjoying a delicious picnic lunch prepared by Ginger's mum. All of a sudden . . . . Brownie, who was Ginger's sister appeared, and she did not look happy!

"Why are you playing with a dog? She is not like us! She looks and behaves differently!" yelled Brownie.
Anabelle began to cry. She did not like the mean words that Brownie said to her. Anabelle ran away. She did not want anyone to see her.

Ginger adored Anabelle, and it made her mad that Brownie was bullying Anabelle because she was different.
"It doesn't matter if we look differently. We are similar in many ways. We like the same games and we have fun together. You should get to know Anabelle instead of being mean to her" Ginger said to Brownie.
