Long ago, a giant sea monster known as Kallie rose out of the sea. It was said that Kallie's body stretched halfway around the world. And that her one eye was as red as fire. AND that her breath was poison to all living things.

Every day she moved closer to Clearwater Creek

The principal of Clearwater Creek asked the teacher for help. “You must give your only daughter, Olivia, to Kallie,” said the teacher. “Only then will Kallie leave."

The principal went pale. Olivia was kind, gentle, and loved by everyone. “Is that the only way to save my people?” the Principal asked.

“It is the only way,” the teacher said.

The principal knew the teacher was serious. But he wasn’t ready to give up yet.

The principal sent a message to all of the students in
clearwater creek : The person who can kill Kallie will get half of the school and Olivia as his or her BFF, The principal was excited when all the students came forward.

But as soon as they saw the monster, they all ran away. The principal was sad.

He knew the girl had to be offered up to Kallie.

There was great grief throughout the land.

On the day before Olivia would be offered to the monster, a friendly boy went to the seashore. His name was Noah W.

All his life Noah W wanted to be a great hero.

He was determined to defeat Kallie and save Olivia.

Noah W borrowed a small boat. He loaded a bucket of burning coals into it and rowed toward Kallie.
