Once upon a time, there was a boy named Max. He was a small kid who often had trouble at school. 

Max had to ride the bus to school, but he hated the bus. He hated the bus because of a kid named Ben.

Ben was a mean boy. He liked to pick on Max because he was so small. Max did not like this and asked him to stop.

Please stop Ben, that hurts my feelings!

Ben did not stop. He continued to push Max over and call him names. 

Haha! Little Max can't get up! He's too little!

Ouch! Ben that hurt me, please stop.

Max went home and told his mom what had happened at school. She told Max to tell the teacher what was happening so she could tell Ben to stop. Max agreed. 

Mom! This kid at school has been bullying me. He won't stop pushing me down, and it hurts.

Oh no buddy! I am sorry that is happening, you need to tell your teacher tomorrow right away!

Max, I am so sorry to hear this. I am glad to hear you reporting this. I will talk to Ben as soon as I can!

Miss Harris, Ben has been bullying me. He likes to push me down and laugh at me because I am small and it hurts me. 

Max went in the next morning and told Miss Harris what was happening. She told Max she was sorry and that she would talk to Ben. 

That afternoon, Miss Harris had a talk with Ben and told him bullying is not nice and there will be punishments if he chooses to continue. 

Ben, bullying is never okay, and pushing Max down is not okay either. You need to be nicer to your friends and if you choose to be mean again there will be consequences.

Ben thought to himself, how would he feel if that happened to him? He realized the only right thing to do.
