Sammy wished he was excited for today, because it was Halloween of course, but he hid in his room as his mom called up the stairs for him.

"Sammy! You're going to be late for school!"

"Mom, can I please stay home?", Sammy asked, "I'm not scary enough to go to school on Halloween, all of my classmates will make fun of me because ghosts are suppose to be scary!"

Sammy's mom told him that he would be okay at school and to not worry about it, so off to the bus stop he went.

When Sammy got to school, Bre shouted to him from across the class, "Hey Sammy! Why don't you try to scare me?". The whole class burst into laughter and Sammy quietly sunk into his seat. "I knew I should have stayed home today", he thought to himself.
