I was in the stinky smelling corner of the road and  I had just eaten a leftover cheeseburger. I was very smelly and I wanted to go piddle very badly but I couldn't because I was stuck in a rope. I was never able to move and I was alone. One day the weirdest little raccoon walked up to me and said, " Hey mate! I got some leftover nuts if you want some?" I knew that raccoons have no mind so I said, " You really think I'll listen to a raccoon?" " Uh, yeah." said the raccoon. I wanted to bite this raccoon so bad but I was well behaved and I knew what to do.

The raccoon then said, " Is there anything I can help you with?" That's when my mind brightened and I said, " Yes! There is something you can help me with. Can you nibble through this rope and set me free?" The raccoon said, " I'll bite through your rope!" The raccoon set me free and the first thing I did was go piddle on a tree. I was so happy that I ran off through a flower field. The raccoon was out of sight which was a little bit of a relief. I saw a truck that said, " DOG CATCHERS " I understood what it meant and I started running across the street. Then a fat man was running toward me and caught me in a net!

The next thing I knew I was in a cage, connected to a chain, in a building. The air tasted bitter and I heard tons of dogs barking. I had a good bite and I couldn't resist biting the chain. I had broken through! I kept running until I saw a guy. I needed to get past him. I walked casually and he didn't see me! I escaped and I ran until I got stuck! I was stuck in a net! I waited for days. Finally a girl walked up to me and said, " Oh my! Mommy can we keep him? Her mom said, Oh okay lets look at his collar." They looked at my collar and her mom said, " We can keep him. The girl screeched a happy scream!

The girl named me Riley. She groomed me every day which made me fluffy, and they would barely feed me so I got really light. I had a big backyard and a pool. I loved to swim in their backyard. One day we went to a weird place called the, " Greenville Vet " We went inside and it smelled like dog food and doughnuts. I went to a room with a woman who smelled like dogs. Then a man came in with a big pointy thing! He poked me in the butt with it! OUCH!!! I barked so bad that the whole world could hear it.

After that I fell asleep and the vets got me back to my normal self. I was back to my old white good self. After the vet I went back home and I got fed a cup 1/2. I found out the girl's name was Maggie. Then they got home and I saw a big, skinny, long tailed, cat! I ran down the hallway to greet the cat but the cat hissed and turned around. I thought, well what a big, fat, black, cat you are. That night I didn't get fed and I didn't have a kiss.

The next day the cat was sitting in my lap! I was freaked out. The cat woke up and said, " You are the best friend of all time. " That afternoon I was in the car traveling!?!? We got to our destination and I was at a barn. I had no idea what to do. We got out and Maggie's mom said, " We are returning this dog. Maggie was bursting into tears! I had now found myself in a stable next to an old gray dog. The old gray dog said, " My name is Bella. I am 15 years old. " I asked, " Where are we? " Bella said, " We are at the Banister Farm. " We spent days and days talking.
