The Importance of Technology

Technology is a huge part of our lives even we might forget about it 

sometimes because we are so adapted to it. Many important work 

areas are required to have at least the basic technology. BOVESPA 

for example as we saw, required a lot of advanced technology. The 

boards that showed the value of companies used to be chalk boards 

that people needed to shout and someone up there close to the 

board would update the information. Nowadays almost everything is 

controlled by computers and machine, updated live actual time it 

happened. 

Speaking for my group and I technology is evolving every day. From 

touchscreen phones to robots.Some people say that there is nothing 

more to be invented but the same thing was said in the begenning of 

1900. 

I hope technology evolves much more and can help us to do things 

we never even imagined of.

The Walkman:In 1979, 

Sony began selling the 

popular Walkman in Japan, 

and in 1980 started legal 

talks with Pavel regarding 

a royalty fee. 

Apple's Computer:

The Apple II was designed to look more like a 

home appliance than a piece of electronic 

equipment. It was made of plastic and it could 

hold up to 48 kilobytes .

CDs:

The Compact Disc or CD becomes 

the first digital storage commercially 

available for the public. Than later in 

history used to store other archives 

such as Music.

Video Camera:

Sony releases their first hand 

held camera. Its name was 

Betamovie BMC-100P. It's so 

large you can't use with only one 

hand
