Violence has existed since the dawn of time, as you can't have happiness, peace, and compassion without it. It is natural to feel aggressive and angry, but it makes us make aggressive decisions that others don't agree with, and if we were to never agree. All we would know is hate, and hate is not a good building block for a society.

Constant violence has gotten us nowhere, and yet we see it everywhere. My dog and cat fight, our friends fight, the world fights constantly for a cause that shouldn't have existed in the first place, control. It leads to an endless loop of revenge.
Every now and then in your life there will be that influence, that energy to do something you will regret. You may not even know it at times. I can be a mental idea you think is right, a physical idea from a friend, or someone you consider a friend at least. Sometimes you aren't in the right state of mind, affected by a substance or influence. Whatever it is, it doesn't define us, and will not control us, for everyone deserves the freedom of choice.
