Once upon a time, there was a young man whose biggest dream was to be a successful officer and to serve Turkish Nation. The way to his dream was passing through the Turkish Military Academy...

Turkish Military Academy, founded in 1834, is the only university that provides officer training in Turkey. The Academy graduated many successful commanders and politicians, the biggest example of which is Atatürk, founder of the Turkish Republic. 

After the years of preparation, the young man had the opportunity to get education from Turkish Military Academy by passing the required medical examinations, sports tests, and an interview. Thus, his five years of adventure in TMA has started.

The first stop in his adventure was the adaptation camp in Mentes. This was his first visit to Mentes but it sure will not be last Although Mentes seemed like it fell from heaven with its fresh air and beautiful sea at the first glance, there were no flip flops and resorts, but there were boots and tents instead! The training he got in this camp included walking in harmony, shooting, and developing a bond between himself and his brothers in arms.

At the end of the camp just before the prep school begins young cadet and his brothers in arms attended the oath ceremony. The prep school in TMA was providing the opportunity to learn different languages depending on cadet's levels which are determined with an exam at the beginning of the semester.
