This is Timmy Tulip. He is very small and is excited to grow up just like all his family!

Hello!

His family has long stems and beautiful petals of all different colors! Red, pink, yellow, blue, orange! It is like a rainbow! 

Timmy wants to look like his family so badly but does not understand, growing takes time.

Mother Tulip always tells him “Appreciate yourself as a little bulb! Your time will come, just keep getting your nutrients!”

Timmy did exactly what his mother said everyday! He got a lot of sunlight! He soaked up water, and even became friends with a little worm for more nutrients! 

Still Timmy saw nothing…

But then… one day he woke up to EVEN MORE green on his head. Timmy was in shock!

“Mother, mother!” Timmy said, “Look Im growing a stem! I am growing!”

And Timmy did not stop after that... He kept growing!
