



Halloween is celebrated, its origins are October 31st. Many believe that this holiday is satanic ,but on the contrary, it originates Celtic, taken over today by many peoples in the Western world.

In the Roman Empire it was Pomona Day, for the Celtics it was the Samhain festival, and for the Christians it was All Saints' Day.
Historian Nicholas Rogers, who has researched the origins of Halloween, notes that while "some folklorists have traced its origins to the Roman celebration of Pomona, the goddess of fruit and seeds, or the festival of the dead called Parentalia, the holiday is most commonly associated with the Celtic festival Samhain, originally written Samuin. The name comes from Old Irish and means "end of summer".
