The day my owner, Emily,
rescued me from the
shelter.
I was so happy to get out
of there and into her warm
arms!
First thing we did that night
was go to Pet Supermarket for
food and toys!
Though, little did I know how
tough my life was going to be!
Cats sure have it easy...

seen a cat dress in such
ridiculous outfits?
I don't think so!
I'm always wearing the
weirdest things just so
Emily and Beth can say "Oooh!"
and "Look at my Baby Tesla!"
Look at that scarf!
Doesn't anyone
know how scary ghosts
are to little puppies?
Oh! And don't even get
me started on those
sunglasses. I don't know
how humans keep them on.

dog is all the pictures they take when
you're sleeping.
How am I supposed to get my beauty
sleep when there's constantly flashing
cameras around me?
Though I must admit. I look pretty darn
cute when I sleep.
Sometimes my mom lets me wear my
sleep mask. I love that little thing!
When I was in the shelter, I never even
had a blanket!
Emily is always taking my picture when
I'm all snuggled in my blanket.
I could seriously be a blanket model.

"What's the toughest thing about being a dog?"
It is the evil fortress of solitude.
The bane of every dog's existence.
Ladies and gents, I am talking about the crate.
I know. I know. I don't look too upset in my
crate in this picture but let me tell you. The
first time I was put in it when everyone left for
class, I whimpered nonstop until they came home!
You see, when I first got to my new home, I
didn't have a crate.
Well, that only lasted for like three hours. I
was just so excited to finally have a family that
I was eating every shoe and pillow in sight!
Eventually, I got a crate for when no
one is in the house to watch me.
Actually, I've started to like this tiny home.
I like it so much that sometimes I go in my crate
to sleep with my blankets and feel protected
when the maintenance guys are in my house.

friends?
When I was just a little pup at the shelter,
I never got to play with any humans.
Now, all humans ever want to do is play with
me!
Whether it's fetch, keep-a-way, superman,
or whatever other game, people just seem
to love getting my attention.
Even when I'm sleeping, my friends never
leave me alone! They just wanna cuddle and
pet me and sing lullabies because they know
how much I love it.
Actually, that may not be such a bad thing.
I actually kind of like it.
But, don't tell them I said that.

a dog is car trips. Man, do I love riding in the car!
Humans are so busy driving that they don't even
take the time to roll down the window and stick
their head out!
I love when Emily and Beth drive me in the car to
the dog park. It's almost better than actually
playing at the park!
Since cars are so compact, I can either cuddle up
in my seat, sit on someone's lap, or hang my face
out the window and cruise through the breeze.
Nothing beats a windy Gainesville day. That
moment just before it starts to rain, when the
wind is cold and the air is moist. I just push out
my nose, stick out my tongue, and lap in the
happiness.
Sometimes, I wish I could live in a car.

started on the phrase
"Roll over!"
Whenever Emily or Beth say
that, I know a good belly
rub is right around the
corner. Belly rubs are my
favorite!
I just love lying on my back,
seeing the ceiling above,
and kicking up my legs as I'm
showered with tickles.
As soon as Beth wakes up
and opens her door, I roll
over immediately because I
know what's in store!

to be about how tough it is
being a dog. You guys got me
off track!
So back to what I was
originally saying. It's tough
being a dog because of all the
pictures, sleeping, crate time,
friends...wait a minute...
These all are great things
about being a dog!
Look at me wagging my tail
and giving my cute, over the
shoulder face.
I couldn't be happier!
