Experiment with vegetables
Materials
sprigs of parsley,
pastry colors
8 glasses with water
Method
We dillute pastry colors in the water (each color in different glass) and mix. We left one glass of water without a color.

We place a sprig of parsley in each glass.

Then we are waiting for three days.
We notice that the sprigs of parsley have absorbe into their fibers the color of each glass.
At the end we record the results of the experiment on paper

Fruit experiment
Materials
Fruits (orange, apple, mandarin, pear, grape, etc)
bowl, water.

Place an orange in a bowl of water. The orange floats.
Peel the orange and put it back in the bowl. The orange sinks. We find out that the orange peel, because of its composition, acts as a lifebelt for the orange and helps it float.

We try to see if the same happens with other fruits. We get an apple.

We found that the peel of the apple does not have this characteristic. The peel of the orange, although it's thick, is lighter.

we also put other fruits in the bowl and observe which fruits sink and which float

We recorded our observations.
