Page 1: Have you ever wondered how plants survive?
I have the answer to satisfy all your curiosity!
To put it simply, plants go through a process where they make their food using sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide.
It can also be explained in this equation; 6CO2+6H2O→C6H12O6+6O2.
This process is called photosynthesis.
Now sit back and relax. This is how photosynthesis does its job!

Page 2: Plants are autotrophs or producers. This means they make their food without the energy of other living things.
Photosynthesis starts when the plant's roots gather water and bring it through the stem and into the leaves from the soil it is planted in.
Water helps maintain the structure or shape of the cells in plants.
The leaves absorb carbon dioxide in the air and use it in a process called "respiration" that the plant goes through to break down sugars for energy.

Page 3: The way light energy from the sun gets absorbed by the leaf's pigments in the form of waves.
These light energy waves can come in different colors depending on the wavelength. The longer, the warmer the color. The shorter, the cooler the color.
The leaves use the light energy from the sun to make the food glucose or sugar.

Page 4: Chloroplast is found in the middle layer of a leaf surrounded by two layers of membranes or protective walls.
The chloroplast makes the light energy and water into glucose sugars as their food.
The chloroplast is green because it reflects green pigment. It does not absorb green pigment.
Chloroplast absorbs red and blue pigment but reflects green pigment.

Page 5:
The product of photosynthesis is sugar glucose as well as leftover oxygen from respiration from leaf cells.
That leftover oxygen leaves through the stomata.

Page 6:
Water and carbon dioxide need light energy to make glucose.
That is where the process of photosynthesis comes in. This process takes place inside the chloroplast which is located in the leaf.
The chloroplast separates the light energy pigments called photosystems which are mainly a unit for photosynthesis.
Photosynthesis uses light to convert the bass water and Carbon-dioxide into glucose or sugar as well as oxygen.
