For sometime now, I had been thinking about asking my mom for a pet.

The thing is I did not just want a pet like a dog or a cat.

So I thought and thought, and asked my mom to have a chat.

Our chat went like,

Yes, Nat?

Mom, I want a pet, but not a dog or cat. I want a pet bat!

If I had a bat I would name her Kat, and her tag would say "Kat the Bat."

The next day, my mom surprised me with a bat, so I named her Kat. I then, went out to look for her dinner which was going to be a mix of spiders, gnats, and more spooky things like that! 

I went and bought Kat a mat, so she could have a bed to sleep on. And the best part of the mat is that it had 6 pictures of cats!

To go to sleep Kat would lay flat and let me pat her head.
