Once, long ago, in a land far, far away, there
was a school. But it wasn't just any school. It
was a school for dinosaurs and unicorns....

But there was one big problem. The dinosaurs
and unicorns didn't talk to each other. They
didn't play with each other. They didn't even
look at each other.
They didn't get along.
No one knew why. It had been that way for as
long as anyone could remember.

Diana the dinosaur and Ukey the unicorn were
always lonely. They had no other dinosaurs or
unicorns to play with.
They sat alone, they ate their lunch alone and
they did their school work alone.

One day, Diana the dinosaur was sick of
having no friends to play with, eat her lunch
with or imagine with.
So Diana put on a brave face and made a very
risky move.

Diana had noticed that Ukey the unicorn was
lonely too. So, she took a big breath, walked
up to Ukey and softly spoke.
"Hey, I'm Diana the dinosaur and I was
wondering if you wanted to play."

Ukey replied, "But we can't do that."
"We are both lonely and we could have a lot of
fun. We could go on adventures and we could
imagine together," Diana said.
"That does sound like a lot of fun," said Ukey.
"Come on!" said Diana, and they ran off hand
in hand.

"We could go to space," said Diana.
"But we can't do that!" replied Ukey.
"Come on! Let's go!" said Diana, and they
began their journey to space.
"3, 2, 1 blast off!" they counted.

Before they knew it they were in space. They
had so much fun floating, exploring and
imagining together.
Suddenly the bell rang.
"See you tomorrow," they said as they ran off
home.

Once again the two friends met at lunch.
"Hey, Ukey," said Diana.
"Hi, Diana," replied Ukey.
"Do you want to go and play?" said Diana.
"Sure," said Ukey, and the two friends ran off
hand in hand.

"We could go to Candyland," said Diana.
"But we can't do that," replied Ukey.
"Come on! Let's go!" said Diana, and they
began their journey to Candyland.
"Hold on tight!" Diana said.
"3, 2, 1," they counted, and before they knew
it they were floating on big pink clouds of
candyfloss.
