You are in your office when detective merlin comes into the room, shouting. "help!" she said. "A woman said she needs a detective! come here." detective merlin leads you to a dragon with fins and blue scales. 

Help, I need a detective.

My husband went missing!

When we were on vacation. In the old mine town.

Ok, we will do some research and call you in the morning.

Ok.

You do some research and discover that the old mine town was rumored to be haunted. "Hmmm."

you say. "shall we?" Merlin said. "Lets go!" you reply. You and the detective head to the old mine town.

you enter the town. merlin looks around, then makes a face. it was almost sunset and you shiver.

it's getting late. you think. "let's find a place to camp." you say. "Deal." Merlin said looking at an abandoned hotel. "Let's go in there. I don't like the idea of sleeping out here."

Jeeze it stinks.

are there rotting bodies here?

Whooooo!!!

You enter the hotel and shiver again. A trickle runs down your spine like cold water. you find one of the lower rooms. You get in the bed and a few hours later you wake up. something was in the room with you you look around and see something in the dark. "Hello?" you ask in the dark. "Yes." the something says. "I'm looking for my wife." "I found your wife." you say. 

You return to the station, Where you are greeted by the dragon with the fins. "Have you found my husband yet?" she asked. "yes" you say. "by the way," "What took you?" 

The man looked worried. "Thats the thing." he said. "I don't know who grabbed me it was just a long white claw." "hmmmm" Merlin said. "thats odd." she said. "was it a ghost?" asked the dragon with the gills.

Was it a ghost?
