In a small, country town called Springtown, there was a girl named Grace who loved hippos , unicorns and her doll named Cherry. Grace was a Christian. She lived in a big house with three siblings. She was 10 years old and the youngest of all of them. 

One day when she was doing her last chore, her mom said that since she had worked with all her heart, she would give her five dollars. Grace was super happy because she was saving up to get an iPad!

  All those chores really wore her out, so she went to the living room to watch her favorite show Barbie. But first she was going to go to the kitchen to make popcorn.

 She started to make the popcorn, but had to leave for just a minute to go to the bathroom. When she got back she was shocked to see the disaster. Popcorn was flying everywhere!  She tried to  stop it, but it was too late. There was popcorn covering her whole body!

Oh no!

When she  finally finished uncovering herself, she cleaned up the big mess and put everything back in the pantry . She decided to go on a walk with her sister instead of watching a movie.

While they were on the walk, they saw a lemonade stand. They had forgotten to bring a drink, so they paid one dollar each for a glass with unlimited refills. They walked about two miles and then they decided to go back home.

When they went inside their parents said they were going on a date and Emma was supposed to watch them. While they were gone they were allowed to watch one movie and the boys were allowed to play Minecraft for an hour and a half, but they had to clean the house first.

Grace watched as they drove away. It had been a awhile since they went on a date and she already missed them. She asked God to give her peace so she could enjoy the time.  Then she went to go tell the boys that they could play Minecraft for a hour and a half.

Everyone agreed that Grace would clean the girls room and the bathroom and they would do the rest. Emma said, "Go, go, go!"
