Chapter 1- Emma's turn

Hi I'm Emma and I live in a penthouse with my husband Parker, baby Posie, and roommate/best friend Jane. Me and Jane have known each other since we were babies she loves my mom, and I love hers.
Just recently Jane has been acting a little suspicious though. She came home from work early and tried to take down my ring doorbell.
Normally I let her have free reign, but now I'm not so sure. Jane is nice and sweet, but now she's being a little different. "Jane..." I began. "What!", she hissed. "Don't give me that attitude in MY house," I added. "Know what, I'm going to your- I mean my mom's house." I thought that was a little weird but thought nothing of it.
"Honey bo bo bear?" sweetly asked my husband. "Yes" "Want to take Posie to the park?" he said.
"Sure, why not!", I exclaimed. Then I took Poise to the park and she made a new friend. "Hunny, it's time to go". "No!" Posie yelled. That's the only word she has been using lately. "Sorry, Poise now," I demanded. "Okay Mommy!" Posie cheered.
When I got back home Parker and Jane were both gone. I could only imagine where Parker had gone. He has this weird obsession with Walmart?
I never knew why? Maybe he should join a support group?
Jane finally got back and was really sneaky. "Jane," "What do you want?" She said with an attitude. "How was your mom's house?" "Nice, we had a little blood punch and some tarts." "Good," I added.
Parker came home with 17 Walmart bags! 17! How do you even carry that outside? "Hunny?" I asked sweetly. "Huh?" "Where were you?" "Uhmmm...." "Exactly." I said like a smart alec.
I do think Jane is up to something I just have to find out what... Maybe I'll find out after I put away all this Walmart stuff!?
Chapter 2- Jane's story

Hi, I'm Jane and I have a secret to share. I live with my roommate/"best friend" Emma and her husband and baby. She thinks were inseparable, but I hate her. I'm kidding. Or am I?
Recently I have been really busy with Em- I mean my mom but Emma wants to be nosy. I don't want her cameras and doorbells everywhere. People think I did it, but I didn't do it.
One day I came from work early because I saw Parker had bought a lot of weird items. Like knifes, paper towels, ropes, and curtains. I had no idea why too.
Emma seams upset with me but she did just have a baby so... I think Parker is up to something but I can't be for sure. And we ALL know if I say something wrong; bye, bye me. Emma is a good person and I'm about to bring out her dark side.
I'm joking. Or am I? Also, Parker loves Walmart for some reason?
At least Emma's baby is cute. I mean look at this face. Emma is supposed be the "perfect" mom. She's not though.

The day after that I noticed Parker going to Emma's moms' house and being there for a long time. When he came back he told me, "If you tell anyone especially Emma about our conversation or anything you will pay, hear me?!" "Whatever," I told him and left. I never knew why such a pretty girl like Emma would marry someone like Parker and then have this beautiful offspring? Oh well.
I do love Emma, but not that Parker.
Emma has always been there for me, but she did help me be who I am now as well. Way back in highschool we had this really big fight with mean names and all that jazz. And that's how I found me! From her that is.
Anyways, better get going, don't wanna be late for supper. Emma is the worst cook that is why I offered to cook tonight.
Wouldn't want that baby starving to death. Hahaha.
Chapter 3- When, Where, and Why?

It all happened a Sunday afternoon I get a knock at my door. "Ma'am? Is this the house of Emma Cross?" "Yes, why?" "I am sorry to report this but Brenda Cross has passed as of this morning at 1:30 am." "No!" Then I broke down crying in front of Jane, Parker, Posie, and even the police officer. How in the Christmas tree is my mother dead! She was fine 3 days ago? Was she sick? This can't be happening. I swear I thought I saw Jane hiding a smile.
But I was too upset to care. The next day we went to my mom's house and to the scene of the death. The cops have identified that it was a murder. "Ma'am? Have you met anyone that has a had a problem with your mom lately?" "Well... really nobody." Now my mind didn't go straight to Jane because she was just being weird the other night. I was so upset and mad that I had to go home or I would have gone full Karen on them with all their questions.
Then the next day Posie was at daycare, Parker at work, and I have taken time off from that. Jane came to me and said "I know who did it." "What!" I screamed with mixed emotions. "Who!?" "Parker..." "What? No?" "I saw him and he told me," Jane said nervously. She said she went to the police and told them everything and that the reason Parker wasn't here was because he was in jail!
I could not believe my ears! Number 1 my sweet and incent husband killed my mother! Number 2 he told me Jane was suspicious. Also, to top it all off he didn't tell me he went to jail! I have no idea what to think and who to believe right now. I guess I better request to see him. To be honest right now I believe Jane more but who knows?
