Hemorrhage is an outflow of blood outside the blood vessels as a result of breaking its walls. Hemorrhage can be the result of an injury or rupture of a vessel, the wall of which ruptures under the influence of blood pressure.


Types of hemorrhages
Arterial hemorrhage is characterized by the pulsating flow of blood that is bright red in color to the rhythm of the heart contractions.
Venous hemorrhage from the surface of the wound, the blood flows out uniformly, has a dark red color.
Capillary bleeding affects the smallest vessels and is usually small.

Symptoms of hemorrhage
1.Pallor of the integuments of the body.
2.Acceleration of heart rate.
3.Drop in blood pressure.
4.General weakness.
5.Tinnitus.
6.Cold sweat.
7.Scotomas in front of the eyes.
8.Anxiety.
9.Loss of consciousness.


Hemorrhage - first aid
- Call an ambulance as soon as possible!
- When bleeding from a limb, try to immobilize it.
- Put the patient in an anti-shock position.
- Cover the patient with a warm blanket, do not give anything by mouth, keep calm and check breathing regularly.
- Carefully observe the patient.
