What to do?  What to do?

I have so many pairs of shoes,

Red ones, purple ones, brown ones, blue green ones, flowered ones, polka dots, too.

I can't shut my closet door,

Shoes in the bed, 

shoes on the floor.

Shoes in the bathroom, 

living room, too

Everywhere, just 

                   TOO MANY SHOES!!

I can't use this many shoes

Can you tell me what to do?

Put them in 

my box of toys,

shake them 

up and 

make some

noise? 

Should I wear them out to play

Splash in mud on rainey days?

Put them on my doggie's feet

Causing laughter in the street?

Pretend they are a little boat

Put them in the pond to float?

Stack them all around my bed

Higher, higher, than my head?

Pile them on my 

big, snow sled?

Tie them to my 

pony's head?

String them on our 

horse and sleigh

Watch them swing 

along the way?

Put them in my kitty's bed

Make a pillow for her head?

Hang them high up 

in the trees,

Watch them swinging 

in the breeze?

   Maybe on the 

   Christmas tree.

   Santa Claus might 

   come to see.

          I could tie them end to end,

         Make a shoe train for my friend.  

Use them for my bunny's home

Or a flower pot for mom?

What to do? What to do?

Oh, so many pairs of shoes.
