It all started as a normal day in the Warmington's living room.Their Father and Mother had the afternoon off and they decided to go to the zoo.
"Kids!" Their father called. The pounding of their footsteps could be heard from
a mile away.
"Yes Father?" Olivia asked running up to her father. Her brother, Thomas, was not
far behind.
"We are going to the Zoo. Get dressed and come back downstairsin 5 minutes!" Father said trying to get Dillion, the youngest of the three,
to stop crying.
Olivia and Thomas were bouncing up and down in excitement the whole way there. They were talking about what animals they were going to see
and what they were going to do.
The Zoo------>
They arrived at the zoo and Olivia immediately spotted a candy shop.
"Mother can we please get some candy?" she begged her mom. Her mom
shook her head and looked at her.
"Maybe later Olivia, we just got here." her mother said and she sighed.
Olivia walked up to the candy shop and admired it.
"Lets go and see the lions Olivia." her Father said. She nodded and they
headed to see the lions.
They got to the lions and they watched them roll around, sleep and play.
Olivia looked at them for about 2 minutes and then got bored. She kept
thinking about that candy shop they passed on the way in. She looked at
Thomas and walked over to him.
"Let's go look at a couple more animals and then we will go to the candy
shop." she said and her brother agreed. They were going to go see the
monkeys and the giraffes before they would sneak away to the candy shop.
They went to the giraffes next and Olivia got excited.
"The monkeys are next and then the candy shop." she said to Thomas and
then he got excited. Their parents took a couple of pictures of the giraffes
before Dillion started crying.
"Lets go and see more animals before Dillion has to take a nap." Mother
said and they headed to see the monkeys.
They stood in front of the monkeys counting them.
"I didn't know they had this many." Father said and Mother agreed. They
were too focused on taking pictures and counting them that they didn't
notice when Olivia and Thomas walked away.
"We did it!" Olivia cheered and Thomas smiled.
"I don't think this is a good idea." he said and she laughed.
"We will be back before they notice we are gone." she said and he nodded.
They walked up to the candy shop and knocked on the door. They waited
for a few seconds before a lady dressed up as a fairy opened the door.
"How may I help you?" she asked and Olivia responded.
"We would like some candy." Olivia said and the lady nodded.
"What kind of candy would you like?" the lady asked and Olivia looked at
Thomas.
"We would like a sucker and chocolate bar each." Thomas answered and
the lady nodded. The lady handed them their candy and they walked back
to their parents.
When they got back to the monkeys, they saw that their parents weren't
there anymore.
"Oh no! Olivia I told you that something bad was going to happen!"
Thomas said starting to cry. Olivia knew that her brother was right and she
was trying to think of some thing.
"Thomas, calm down. Let's just go and try to find them." she said and
Thomas nodded.
