The Tree
By: Evan Kirby

Right Now, I Lay in my bed, and I think. Just think. I'm thinking about the time last year of
The Tree

I went to the Plant Store, and I asked for a tree. Just a tree. But the storeowner, he gave me something totally different,
A Seed
One Sad, Lame, Pathetic Seed. But as much as I wanted to say "No! I don't want your stupid seed!", I took it reluctulantly(It was free) and I instead said "Thank you".

So I Planted It.
And Waited.
But nothing happened.
I watered it, checked it, soiled it, and made sure it was in a sunny area.
But nothing happended.

And just when I thought that all hope was lost, I saw a leaf, and then another. And then another, untill it was a full grown tree.
I marveled at it's design, its greeness. It looked like the first green, the one originally made.
And I was happy
And It was happy
It got bigger, bigger, and bigger. And soon...
People Came to See It

First, it was just a few friends but soon, with that tree,
It Grew.
The town visited, the Mayor gave it an award.
And It was Happy
And I was Happy
And The People were Happy

It grew so high, it was almost touching the sky!
And It was Happy
I was Happy
The Town was Happy
and the Sky was Happy
Untill The Blizard...
