Chapter 1
Hazel goes camping
It was a sunny afternoon when I heard my parents talk about something cool.
"Mama and Papa, what are you planning, is it anything special like a party for me?" I asked. They replied "No honey, we just think you are now ready for camping all by yourself. "Why Mama and Papa? Aren't I too young?" I responded.
"No darling, you will love it and we think you might stumble on something quite astonishing!", they said.
I had no idea what they were talking about, but I trusted them.

I walked for many hours. On my way, I saw a lot of colorful flowers and a beautiful lake. I saw humming birds hum a melodious song. I also saw a multicolored butterfly.
I followed the butterfly into a vast meadow. The meadow looked so fresh and new, as though no one had ever been there before. I decided that it was the perfect place to camp.
I swiftly got everything set up and then fell deep asleep. I kept wondering what was the astonishing thing mama and papa were speaking about, but I knew I would figure it out eventually.
When I was sleeping, I heard the sound "Twik Tweek." I moved a little but went back to sleep. Then, I heard it again.. "Twik Tweek.. Twik Tweek." I jumped out
of my sleeping bag. I had to figure out what it was!
I went forward and backward searching for the sound, but I didn't see anything that had to do with the sound.
I started to doubt myself if there really was any sound. I wasn't sure anymore. I walked all the way back to the peaceful meadow. I decided that the next
day, I would be sure to find out.

Chapter 2
Hazel meets Berry
I woke up ready for the gorgeous day! To my surprise, there was a tree that I had barely noticed before. The tree suddenly started talking to me and I yelled "Aaaaaaaa-aaaaaaah a talking tree!" very loudly.
"I'm not a talking tree. I'm a tree that can talk" the tree said. "Aren't they just the same?" I asked. The tree smiled a bit shyly and said, "By the way, I'm Berry. It's so nice to meet you. I said "I'm Hazel. It's so nice to meet you Berry. I've never seen a tree that talks before."
I then realized what mama and papa meant when they said I might see something astonishing.

I talked with Berry for a bit and she told me how she lived all by herself. I didn't want her to feel all alone so l thought for a bit "Hmmm.... if Berry lived next to me...I will also have someone to play with everyday, instead of just doing chores all the time."
I started to enjoy the idea of living and playing with Berry every day. "Anyway, what could go wrong... right?" I thought. I told Berry my idea of living with her and she
was delighted. "Stay right here, Berry. I will talk to my parents and see if I can move you to our farm."
Berry felt very happy and she wanted to come with me. When I got ready to leave, I heard a "Twik Tweek!" again. I then realized that it was Berry who made that sound!

Chapter 3
Hazel helps Berry
I rushed home to talk to my parents. But then, I realized something really terrible, "I forgot my sleeping bag and my camping bag!" Well, I decided that it could wait because I had to do something more momentous.
I ran up to my parents. "How was your camp, honey? You're back very soon!" I told them it was great but also told them that I wanted something.
"What is that something you want, dear?" asked Mama and Papa. I asked them if I could move Berry to our farm. They were quite surprised at first, but they responded with "Yes, but we need to first make sure the tree is young enough to be
transplanted."

"What is "Transpotted?" I asked.
"Honey, it's not transpotted. It is trans-PLANTED! It means you move a tree from one place and plant it in another place. You can only do this when the tree is young,
otherwise it will hurt the tree and it won't live long" my mama and papa said.
"Oh no! I never want to hurt Berry. I want to keep her healthy and safe all the time." I said. "Well, I like how you care for Berry so much, so let's take a look first thing
tomorrow morning.
I was very happy and was wondering if Berry would be okay, until I returned back to her.

Chapter 4
Friends forever
The next morning, Mama, Papa and I went to take a look at Berry. Mama and Papa took some time and checked if Berry was healthy. Soon, Mama and Papa told me "Hazel, Berry is young and healthy. She is 5 years old and all we need is a truck
to move her now!"
I was so happy. Both Berry and I jumped up and down in excitement. Even some apples fell on my head! I gave Berry a gigantic hug and she almost fell off.
I promised Berry that I will make a playhouse for her and decorate it to make it look as beautiful as possible, so she would like it. I told Berry that we will come back the next day to move her in a truck.
