Once upon a time there were three friends; Riley,
Elizabeth, and Alex. They were dancers together. All
three girls were headed to dance camp together for
the summer when disaster struck. They realized they
were going to have to be competing against each other
for solos.

best friends

This made all the girls sad. They had never competed
against each other for something ever before. Riley,
Elizabeth, and Alex were scared That one might get a
solo but the other two might not.
The girls talked to all of their coaches to see if
they could just not compete for a solo but they didn't
have a choice, because it was going to be part of their
grade for the week.

The tryouts for the solos were at the end of the
week right before the performance, so they thought
they might as well just keep it off their minds till then.
As the girls went to all of their classes they began
to notice there were tryouts in everything everyday with
solos in it. This bothered the girls more and more.
Finally Elizabeth just decided to go ahead and try-
out because she didn't want to loose to Alex or Riley.
Elizabeth got the solo and it made the other two girls
super mad and jealous.

Riley and Alex decided that they were both going
to tryout for solos too. Riley and Alex were both trying
out for the same solo. This made both girls furious.
Riley ended up getting the lead solo in their
routine. This made Alex sad and mad.

Riley, Elizabeth, and Alex had all gotten torn apart
just for the spot light. The girls finally realized what
they had done was not good. But Riley and Elizabeth
didn't want to give up their solos to make Alex feel
better and to get back together. This made Alex feel
even more left out.
In order to feel better Alex tried out for one more
solo. The last solo, this solo would get her having a solo
in the big performance.

Alex did nothing but practice and practice until her
tryout. Once it was her turn she went in with
confidence and got the lead solo! She was so
happy she wanted to brag about it but she knew it
wouldn't help the girls situation any.

Instead of talking about her solo she went to Riley
and Elizabeth and asked them about their solos. Once
they finally found out she had gotten a solo too
everyone was happy.
Since all three of the girls were happy and none of
them felt left out they were able to practice together.
