Christmas was Julie's favorite time of year.   She 

loved the Christmas decorations, the rooms 

full of family, and most of all the visit from 

Santa!

Julie was sitting at home admiring all of the 

presents under the tree, when she heard the 

phone ring. It was her best friend, Amy!

Amy called to ask Julie if she wanted to come 

to her house the next day to play. Since 

school was out Julie's mom gave her 

permission to go to Amy's the next day.

The next day, Julie woke up and had her mom 

take her straight to Amy's house. She was so 

excited since she hadn't seen Amy since the 

beginning of winter break from school.

Julie had never been to Amy's house, and was 

so excited to see what toys she had, and what 

her room looked like.

Julie was so happy to finally be at Amy's 

house, but she noticed one big difference in 

Amy's house than her own.....

Where was her Christmas tree?

Amy took Julie upstairs to her room to play.  

As soon as they were in Amy's room, Julie 

asked Amy where here Christmas tree was.
