"Nanomedicine is the medicine of the 21st century," says Dr. Tessy María López Goerne

On October 22, 1961, Dr. Tessy María López Goerne was born, in a beautiful place called Guanajuato. without imagining what she was going to achieve when she grew up, how admired and important she was going to be.

Tessy grew up like a normal girl, in an environment full of love and support, but she grew up, and the more she grew, she became interested in new things. When she reached the age where she had to enter the University, she managed to enter the Metropolitan Autonomous University, studying a physico-chemistry degree

Tessy managed to finish her degree and did something that would change medicine...

She created a new branch of medicine and oncology, known as nanomedicine; which is a discipline that allows injecting particles into brain tumors and, in this way, making efficient treatments against different types of cancer

The inspiration for this new branch comes from a movie called "The Fantastic Journey", in which the protagonists shrink to very small sizes with the intention of entering the body of another character to save their lives. Based on this, Dr. López was able to create this new method with which it can be ensured that only any evil found in our body will be combated.
